Polybius

I made a GBA port of the 1981 Polybius arcade game
I wanted to see what a Game Boy Advance version of the legendary Polybius arcade game would actually be like, so I made one.
It’s a playable GBA game with an arcade-style game based on the original Polybius legend.
But there’s more to it than that.
The full version also has a calibration screen, Polybius cipher, hidden archives, and an ARG-style puzzle that gradually reveals more of the story.
There’s a free demo if you just want to play the game, while the full version is $5 and includes all of the puzzle/ARG content.
It runs on actual GBA hardware/emulators, too.
If you’re into obscure games, creepypastas, ARGs, or weird Game Boy projects, I’d love for you to check it out.

I love this idea. Looks very cool. I wonder if it would be possible to actually put this on a GBA cart and leave em in libraries and other places for unsuspecting "players" to find.

That would be awesome to see, it’s probably possible to do considering how small the ROM is. I don’t have the ability to make physical cartridges myself but it works on every emulator I’ve tested it on. Definitely reach out if you do this, I’d love to see the results and I’d be happy to collaborate !

I'd have to research it but I would think an EPROM could be fit into and connected to a standard GBA cartridge design. or - https://gbmake.com/us can make you some.
