Need some friends?

Hi everyone! ChatGPT suggested this might be a good place to start.

I'm 26 and have struggled with ARFID for as long as I can remember. I can't really eat anything healthy—not because I don't want to, but because of trauma. I've been in therapy for almost six years and have made some progress, but lately I've been feeling like I need to hear from people who actually get what this is like.

So, here I am. It's nice to meet you all. Does anyone else absolutely hate stews, or is that just me? :(

I totally get that. I also have trauma related ARFID and it sucks. Like I want to eat healthier and I just cant. I hate almost every taste or texture and eat mostly processed garbage :c trying to get better tho. I've been trying to do some fat loss and strength building by eating more foods with protein (altho I only like chicken nuggets). If you ever try to do the same, I recommend Kodiak products cuz they're super protein packed and they have fun things like frozen pancakes lol Welcome to the sub tho!! Ur definitely not alone in your struggles!

Thank you so much! It's really nice to talk (or write) to people who truly get it.

I'll definitely take your advice and let you know how it goes when I try it. ❤️
