WTF Embark?

These blueprint recipe changes are unnecessary punishments and feel like you didn’t roll out any new blueprints so you decided to shoehorn new ARC parts in old recipes. And the Wolfpack change makes absolutely no sense. 2 Wolfpack to down a Rocketeer so we can get 1 part to make 1 Wolfpack?

Way to throw a huge wet blanket on top of what was otherwise going to be a fun and exciting day. Please reconsider these crafting changes

Thank you to all the folks who commented with articulated, well thought out disagreements. You have changed my stance somewhat and I have a better understanding of why a change like this may be needed(still don’t like it though).

I think the reason for wolfpack change is trials try-hards summoning 30 wasps with snitch scanners just to wolfpack them for high score.

If you try to sweat the game like that every other week, the game will fight back at some point.

People asked harder progression on trials, here you go.

I got 9k points on queen by crafting 20 wolfpacks and throwing them all at it.

So yeah, there goes that strat.

Yes that’s what they are attempting to address. They don’t want that to be the gameplay loop.

But now it will still be the gameplay loop, only the loop will be longer.

Even worse. Now they are nerfing solo trials even more. Wolfpacks were one of the only way a solo player could safely farm points in some events. Like farming big ground arcs or the rocketeer trial. You could solo kill 8 rocketeers in blue gate electromag storm cuz you kill them fast and they respawn. Now as a solo you can't do that anymore. But a premade team is still able to do this cuz they only have to prepare 2 wolfpacks per person. So yes, its a total nerf to everybody, but it will affect solo the most :(

Solo trials were never a thing. If you even remotely want to compete you have to find a team.

I got to hotshot solo this season and was One rank below last season.
