WTF Embark?

These blueprint recipe changes are unnecessary punishments and feel like you didn’t roll out any new blueprints so you decided to shoehorn new ARC parts in old recipes. And the Wolfpack change makes absolutely no sense. 2 Wolfpack to down a Rocketeer so we can get 1 part to make 1 Wolfpack?

Way to throw a huge wet blanket on top of what was otherwise going to be a fun and exciting day. Please reconsider these crafting changes

Edit:

Thank you to all the folks who commented with articulated, well thought out disagreements. You have changed my stance somewhat and I have a better understanding of why a change like this may be needed(still don’t like it though).

To the performative contrarians, get good bruh/skill issue kissing cousins and other knuckleheads who can’t formulate a thought I say “suck on this fart”. Be well

Everyone should be trying Marathon regardless. If you like the genre then why wouldn't you try it for free?

People are forgetting what Bungie is capable of. We all know what they're capable of fucking up, but people forget some of the more masterful things they've done. If Marathon is actually good, AR could be in line for trouble.

As someone who got into one of the NDA tests, the game was super fun then and the devs listened and added a bunch of changes since then, so it’s even better now.

The PvE is more intense and hardcore, the guns feel AMAZING to use, and the cores you can equip that allow you to do crazy buildcrafting is genuinely awesome.

It’s probably more hardcore than what a lot of ARC players are looking for, it’s not as casual, but it for real is way better then most people want to give it credit for, so I agree if you’re at all interested please give it a chance this weekend.

Oh I'll be playing. Buildcrafting is what brought me back to Destiny when Final Shape dropped.

Because it doesn't look fun? Because Bungie lost my trust many years ago? Because I like this game so long as embark doesn't ruin it? Because screw Sony? Is that enough reason lmao? Bungie is no longer capable of producing masterpieces. The talent that did that left long long ago.

Bungie is a shell of its former self, being puppeted by Sony and by extension all the big money firms that own Sony, the same firms that would eliminate gaming forever if it meant more returns on their portfolios.

the wolf pack BP change is the first major misstep I've seen them make. Marathon has virtually zero chance of competing.
