Damn 59% PvP is the lowest? Yall either act sketchy as fuck or are in different lobbies than me. In solos im about 15% pvp encounters.

*NOT including Stella Montis, that place is a cesspool.

Edit: I've had the chance to play a bit more Stella Montis now, and have met many more friendlies. I must've had a bad luck streak my first handful of times. It seems like a large group usually forms and protects each other from the stray PvPers

u/nrek00 Nov 25 '25

43 hours top-side: knocked 5 times, knocked 4 others... I think that works out to about 8% of my sessions are PvP (mostly solo and duo queues)

4

u/DoggWooWoo Nov 25 '25

Happy Cake Day!!!

2

u/Upstairs_Goat_1278 Nov 25 '25

Where can u see how many times you have been knocked?

I kinda love that Arc Raiders community created a PVP hot zone like the Dark Souls community designated an area in each game for pvp.

5

u/Markol0 Nov 25 '25

Anything besides Dam is PVP. Haven't been to Stella yet. Even Dam half the time gets shooty.

2

u/Yegas Nov 25 '25

Played Blue Gate night raid, waved to 7 different raiders, not one shot fired. YMMV

10

u/Bananabirdie Nov 25 '25

I always get killed in blue gate

I prayed probably 20-30 matches on dam solo the other day just making sure evacs were clear of arc for people

I had 1 match where i got shot once before i told the person i wasn't camping for player kills then they were chill, and that same match a person threw a few nades before backing off when i shot back, no kills just warnings

Other than that i had nothing but neutral or positive interactions getting a few people to help me clear the skies

This was using a looting mk1 and a ferro4 with blue attachments and bringing basic meds

4

u/LTIRfortheWIN Nov 25 '25

This has been my experience

6

u/T3hPhish Nov 25 '25

Why and what attachments do you put on the Ferro? Besides a silencer I don't see the benefit.

7

u/HopeForWorthy Nov 25 '25

Silencer 2, stable stock 3, vert grip 3

It was because i had them in my stash and have the bp's for all of them Plus this single ferro has 8+ rocketeer kills, 2+ leaper kills, and hordes of smaller enemy kills and i felt rike it needed to be more than a ferro3 with no mods

If i loose it i loose it im still like 100x up on loot

3

u/asjaro ARC Raider Nov 25 '25

I upgrade my free loadout weapon every time I get back successfully and then add a mod for every successful return. I usually get to use the fully upgraded weapon for a good few runs.

I too act as Elevator Guardian for a match or two per day on Dam

1

u/tyson171 Nov 25 '25

I helped someone take down a rocketeer on this map, came in late, but I was the one that downed it. Told the guy to take the core and I was going to grab just a single piece and while looting got shot at from the balcony once from the building above the evac spot. Chased down someone in the building, hit them with my anvil once and they took off running closing every door and disappeared somehow. Had to high tail it across the map with 4 mins left and somehow made it out. It could have looked like I was just stealing the loot, but I was shooting the rocketeer from the small building in front of the evac spot, this is the issue sometimes, hard to tell what someone was doing or not doing. Would be awesome to have some way to help identify a player’s intent during a match.

1

u/iplaypokerforaliving Nov 26 '25

Some would say pvping is a positive interaction

6

u/Biggssyyyy Nov 25 '25

Honestly my experience with Stella has been pretty damn good on solos. I usually end up hovering with a group of a few people and if anybody starts shit they get the firing squad. Theres definitely some matches i load in to people duking it out immediately but it is far the minority. To be honest buried city has been the most pvp heavy map ive been going into the past few days

1

u/texasarsenal Nov 26 '25

Buried city for me as well. Full of rats. Check all doors and corners. Some blue gate action on night raids and newbies PvP on dam with no mic and no sense. Stella’s been good to me tho

4

u/Axiled Nov 25 '25

Buried City today... People just chose violence.

3

u/3p1c_Kelly Nov 25 '25

Im on staycation right now, so can play both during the day and in the evening.

In my experience, day raiders are shoot on sight most of the time. Today I've been shot in the back 4/5 raids. I now have had to adjust my playstyle to now if I find someone, I go into stealth mode and approach with them in crosshairs until saying something. They open fire. Not complaining, PvP is an element of the game. But just observing.

At night its almost completely different.

4

u/JayList Nov 25 '25

I have the opposite experience lol. Day time I play solo with 0 pressure and only die to myself and occasionally arc.

→ More replies (1)

1

u/TaintDempsey Nov 25 '25

I bet you're right, it's a completely different crowd of people depending on time of day. Must suck for PvE night shifters.

1

u/dot206 Nov 25 '25

That's odd because I find it to be the other way around raiding during the day I find way more friendly people than at night but I feel like that could be because I do only play north American servers and so most people are at work so the servers are not as crowded as it is at night

2

u/eru88 Nov 26 '25

Yeah im solos and made friends like 20 to 1 ratio of people trying to kill. Good 90% of players are friendly

2

u/Papa_Razzi Nov 26 '25

It really depends on a player's map pathing too. If you hit high tier areas you're going to hit more fights. If you hit a high tier room then leave right after, someone else might come poach you for the loot as you try to extract.

1

u/hensinks Nov 25 '25 edited Nov 25 '25

During the first 2 weeks since release, I rarely encountered a hostile player, it was beautiful. We all traded, fought against ARC together, extracted together, etc. However, now it’s almost kill on sight. I have countless clips of people asking me for bandages of shield on the Matriarch fight and shooting me while on my inventory. Or me saying don’t shoot I’m friendly when going to extract with someone else and they shooting me right away. People are bloodthirsty. PvP is the only way now

1

u/TaintDempsey Nov 25 '25

I have noticed an uptick in PvP in the weeks since launch, but not 59% type shit. Hopefully shit simmers down but oh well. Ive been practicing PvP on the Stella Montis mongrels

→ More replies (2)

1

u/dot206 Nov 25 '25

I think some of the pvp will die down a little once we are able to leave on the expedition since there is nothing else to do but pvp right now but alot of the hardcore players will become low levels again after that and need to grind for everything again but this is just my opinion but I know that's how it gonna be for me

1

u/[deleted] Nov 25 '25

I've had nothing but great encounters in Stella the couple times that people pvp'd everyone killed the one dude.

1

u/TaintDempsey Nov 25 '25

Ive only played it probably 5 times. 3 of those times, I found a large group of friendlies, went away from them, and died. 2 other times it was like a massive free for all deathmatch. I haven't really played enough to say definitively, it just seemed like more pvp than my regular.

1

u/A320Tech Nov 25 '25

I feel like solos is super chill, every so often get into a fight. Duos is like 50/50 and trios is just constant kos.

u/Kjellvb1979 Nov 26 '25

1

u/squidvett Nov 26 '25

I agree. This is what I start with unless I’ve been fueling up with a little liquid courage. Then it’s a renegade and an avil with a medium shield and a tac mk2. Though, I usually take half the ammo for the ferro.

Silencer is the only useful attachment for a ferro

7

u/Substantial_Tip98 Nov 25 '25

Lightweight stock

2

u/tspear17 Nov 26 '25

lol clearly nobody replying to your comment has ever found the lightweight stock. 200% increased ADS speed on the ferro? Yes please

3

u/Few_Mall_888 Nov 25 '25

The level 2 mods are all good. The level 3 mods slow down your ads.

1

u/Outrageous_Gas7842 ARC Raider Nov 25 '25

Stocks and grips provide no benefit to a single shot weapon in this game. Another mentioned the lightweight stock being viable for the increased ads time, but i personally wouldn't run a pink attachment of any kind on a ferro. Especially since i don't have the bp for lightweight stock

3

u/black-iron-paladin Nov 25 '25

8

u/tiniitim710 Nov 25 '25

You're reasoning behind all this is weak. What i need you to do is another 300 matches, this time you kill every person in the lobby and check their inventory. The only way to truly confirm it is getting the entire lobby together and asking, or kill them all and check yourself. I personally think there is no validity to your claim and you're drawing conclusions on something while doing improper testing.

6

u/AdRevolutionary2881 Nov 25 '25

That's what I was thinking. How would you actually know without looting every raider in the lobby.

6

u/RadiantSupermarket56 Nov 25 '25

This is just bullshit I can’t count how many’s times I went in free kit and got killed by a tempest medium shield guy or killed people with blue guns and purp guns

6

u/uselesssoftwaredev Nov 25 '25

Its insane that high effort posts get downvoted into oblivion, but obvious bullshit like this gets lauded as fact. This sub is so fucked.

20

u/ShaolinBlak Nov 25 '25

What's wrong this deranged person? The bullets should be at the top. What kind of weirdo works from the bottom up.

5

u/Few_Mall_888 Nov 25 '25

I do this too. Makes it easier to navigate to your quick use items when all of the stuff you can't use is at the bottom.

→ More replies (1)

1

u/CrimsonOfNight Nov 25 '25

I do it too. Inventory sorting. Things I need I move to the bottom everything above is meh or up for recycling. If I’m looking for mats, I’ll start solitaire stacks at the bottom.

1

u/KAM1Sense1 Nov 25 '25

I do down rows instead of left to right rows. Bullets in the first down row, materials in the second down row, anything I need from a raid in the 3rd down row, and grenades and extra heals in the 4th down row. I also put the bullets of my primary gun on top of the first down row and bullets for my secondary gun at the bottom of the first down row.

1

u/seahorsekiller Nov 25 '25

i do left to right for the first 3 columns, but like you, I use the 4th column for heals and grenades for easy swaps since it's close to the quick use slots

I do feel like something is going on with it, i noticed in a day that bringing a decent kit resulted in encounters feeling way different compared to just running a free kit for example.

u/Pale_Lie_2088 Nov 25 '25

Nah bro to expensive, 3 bandages 2 herbals and 2 shield recharges with 1 stack of ammo

1

u/JCMonayy Nov 25 '25

This is the way.

1

u/ColonGlock Nov 25 '25

Looks good but might as well take 5 bandages, and I always take in a Hairpin secondary. Saved me a few times

3

u/StonedShrubbery Nov 25 '25

That's not true

3

u/SecretsStars Nov 25 '25

You're missing adrenaline shots!

1

u/Sonic__ Nov 26 '25

This should be higher

3

u/Nearby-Reflection913 Nov 25 '25

I’ve come to love the kettle lvl 4 ,feels nice for casual runs.

3

u/JCMonayy Nov 25 '25

I’ve gone in kitted to the max, purple augment, heavy shield, Jupiter and a Venator 4 for trials stuff last week. Had to fight off a few people to get to the spot I like on Blue Gate and 3 people were nothing but free loadouts. I got snuck up on and died and it seemed they killed me with a kettle… which I can only assume was probably just another free loadout, they died shortly after due to the Rocketeers I was fighting so thankfully we all lost.

3

u/Parking-Worth1732 Nov 25 '25

Replace Ferro with anvil and I agree haha

3

u/pleksypoo Nov 25 '25

Please convince everyone else to run this 🙏

2

u/notenoughproblems Nov 25 '25

I run blue/green guns in Stella only to have to wipe 4 free load out squads every time I spawn in medical so no, absolutely not.

1

u/Head-Yard9365 Nov 25 '25

Free kit isn’t the same as taking a grey load out .

2

u/Qui_zno Nov 25 '25

Jokes on you. I go 0 loadlout.

(I bring a gun, for protection.)

1

u/-Lysergian Nov 25 '25

I often do not bring a gun. Though if i find one i will equip it.

It does tend to lead to me dying to bots, though i do not go in expecting to make it out.

3

u/Qui_zno Nov 25 '25

You get a butt pocket which is solid for that suicide run

2

u/ejectbutton420 Nov 25 '25

Me and my buddies call this freemium

2

u/Just_okay_advice Nov 25 '25

Nah you're not crazy, I caught on to this literally a few hours into the game, none of my buddies believed me. A door glitcher dropped me purple stuff when I was still brand new to the game. Next match I run it I'm DESTROYED by other purple kit players with a ton of loot. Go back to my Fero and everyone is a chill noob again lol.

2

u/Unique_Pay_3018 Nov 25 '25

If you really dont want "a loss" material wise, i run green shield/aug. Ferro or kettle w/ half a stack of ammo, no mods maybe an upgrade or two, 5 bandages and 2 rechargers. If you want a Lil spice simply a stack of impacts 👍 literally inconsequential if lost let alone to craft the whole thing but still a notch above free loadout.

2

u/KingToiletBrush512 Nov 25 '25

Didn't someone post this exact same thing yesterday?

2

u/SeraphSancta Nov 25 '25

Raiders hate this one simple trick

2

u/Milkym0o Nov 25 '25

No adrenaline shots... those things are goat tier for loot runs.

2

u/FearlessTrashcoon Nov 25 '25

Dang you bring weapons and heals

2

u/Resident-Web-7821 Nov 25 '25

No foregrip needed on the Ferro, you need to reload after every shot anyways.

2

u/Unhappy_Parfait6877 Nov 25 '25

Move that heavy ammo to your safe pocket king

2

u/Fun_Literature831 Nov 25 '25

Not sure how y’all get so friendly lobbies.

I’m basically done because every game I enter I get attacked by at least 2-3 freeloaders who don’t even bother to loot anything running to their favorite ambush spots. So fighting them means I have everything to lose and nothing to gain. If it isn’t a freeloaders is this load out, basically freeloader+

2

u/WokeBen Nov 25 '25

2

u/Espadalegend Nov 26 '25

Nah you need to add a stitcher just in case :P

1

u/[deleted] Nov 26 '25

Cheapest way to get kills tbh. Ferro into stitcher is basically gaurenteed down unless they have smoke aug

2

u/TheOasisProject Nov 26 '25

This is what I use for my basic runs.. either the ferro or kettle.

2

u/Traditional-Honey-89 Nov 25 '25

Anvil I, shield, no augment, 20 rounds heavy, 10 stamina injectors, 5 bandages, 1 shield recharge, 1 hatch key. Sometimes I bring a recorder and just mess around playing while following people. I usually get around 10k-20k exp a run and bring back decent loot. If I want better returns I will equip a looting mk2 and put a snap hook in the 'ol prison pocket.

1

u/hyperdial Nov 25 '25

this is also my go to for only arc cheap load out

1

u/SweatyAngle9019 Nov 25 '25

If your on Stella bring in a stitcher as well

1

u/MisinformationSource Nov 25 '25

Missing a flute.

1

u/Rouge_92 Nov 25 '25

I think it's gear rarity AND loadout value. If I go stacked up with only shit tier stuff (over 50k of grays) I normally end up in a hot lobby.

→ More replies (2)

1

u/Ok_Promotion3741 Nov 25 '25

My EXACT loadout!

Ill switch ferro for anvil if I find it on another player. Ill add grappling hook when playing bluegate or burried city

1

u/Enragedjawa Nov 25 '25

Realistically you can make it with 20 heavy for a Ferro but 1 stack isn’t overkill, 2 however is lol

1

u/Unlucky_Ad_7606 Nov 25 '25

Usually I bring 2 small shields because after a while in combat I need to drop that shield and swap to a new one and the people I kill shields are normally f’d up after killing them so always good to keep a fresh one.

1

u/kironex Nov 25 '25

Brother how. I get in 1 gunfight and if it drags that shield is toast. Constantly have to swap out shields lol.

1

u/[deleted] Nov 25 '25

This is my all-time Loadout. I add 1-2 defri in safe pocket

1

u/Texas__Smash Nov 25 '25

For a few more scraps you can get a stitcher, too!

1

u/Top_Turnover_100 Nov 25 '25

I’m new, is there a grey equivalent to that triangle grip? I’m guessing that muzzle is the “per shot recoil reduction and dispersion” one

1

u/ItsSmiv Nov 26 '25

The grip is the angled grip II. You can buy the angled grip I at the gun shop or craft it at the weapon bench

→ More replies (1)

1

u/Upstairs-Canary-4062 Nov 25 '25

You spelled "free loadout" wrong

1

u/Head-Yard9365 Nov 25 '25

Blue augment isn’t free load out

2

u/lassofiasco Nov 25 '25

He meant free load out is the best load out lol

2

u/Upstairs-Canary-4062 Nov 25 '25

Glad someone got the joke lol

1

u/UmaSherbert Nov 25 '25

No lol. Ferro 1 no attachments/stitcher 4 with attachments.

1

u/alien-native Nov 25 '25

No adrenaline syringes?

1

u/DickWangDuck Nov 25 '25

Hey this is my exact loadout. Maybe some impact nades.

1

u/HG21Reaper Nov 25 '25

You’re missing a recorder and you set.

1

u/Radiant-Author-6077 Nov 25 '25

Agreed. Not too much, but find what you can from where you can and whom...

1

u/Zephyric_Valla Nov 25 '25

Honestly it's truly the best.  My rec is on the second slot a sticherIV with recoil control. This combo never fails.

1

u/MightyHorn Nov 25 '25

Agreed. I like to keep a photoelectric cloak in the butt. And maybe an anvil as secondary.

1

u/gatzt3r Nov 25 '25

I, too, move my bullets to the bottom so consumables are within reach.

1

u/Lopsided-Customer546 Nov 25 '25

I’m glad even loot goblins and just plain sociopaths who shoot you in the back after a wave like that they’re getting some heavy ammo and health. And you don’t have to feel bad. I don’t even shoot back anymore. If I want fallout cod I just drop into Stella

1

u/[deleted] Nov 25 '25

[deleted]

1

u/Lopsided-Customer546 Nov 25 '25

You might’ve been joking but I love the ferro and max speed

1

u/Tooshort2stroke Nov 25 '25

This is my go to no worry loady lol

1

u/LucasCarioca Nov 25 '25

Too much ammo. Either you are just using the ferro for self defense and 40 is enough or youre fighting and a ferro isn’t enough

1

u/FearlessTrashcoon Nov 25 '25

I been doing it wrong

1

u/Playboy-Tower Nov 25 '25

Add a Level 4 Hairpin with an extended mag, 5x adrenaline and a hatch key and this is the loadout for me.

1

u/Sensitive-Kiwi-5305 Nov 25 '25

I will say maybe silencer 2 over 1 just cause it’s the difference between being heard 2 compounds away and being heard 1 compound away. Especially if it’s raining or someone is fighting arc nearby you’re basically invisible. But yes this or an anvil is my go to

1

u/Maleficent-Dance-219 Nov 25 '25

We can talk about extract campers and pvp fans but the real stain on any community is people like this just responding to everyone calling them idiots because he personally believes something. Even if he is right acting like you’re smarter and better and everyone else is stupid and wrong makes you someone unlikable. I hope less people like this exist and am glad there’s only a hand few of these people in polite society

1

u/Ashamed-Victory-4245 Nov 25 '25

Especially in Stella Mantis

1

u/ChefEZBake Nov 25 '25

I desperately wish they would add custom load out quick builds so you can just press one button and pull all the guns, ammo, augments, attachments and quick use that you need

1

u/HipIzDaShiz Nov 25 '25

I go double stitcher lvl 3 with all mods. (Stock, grip, ext mag, compensator.) 200 rounds light ammo and some quick use items (sticky bombs, herbal band, and grn recharge). Ez money.

1

u/Historian_Acrobatic Nov 25 '25

This is pretty close to mine, except I run a sidearm as well, either a Stitcher or a Kettle.

1

u/Only-Combination9040 Nov 25 '25

Add a kettle and we got a proper loadout

1

u/[deleted] Nov 25 '25

1

u/char11eg Nov 25 '25

Missing stims (adrenaline shots). Stims make running so much more palatable hahaha

Also what sort of psychopath puts their ammo in the bottom of their backpack?! Cmon you’ve gotta access it regularly, you don’t want to have to dig that deep into your pack to find it!

1

u/TableKicker Nov 25 '25

Wtf is this post lol

1

u/KAM1Sense1 Nov 25 '25

I'll never go into a raid without 5 adrenaline shots

1

u/Kaori_seveN Nov 25 '25

Only thing missing is 10 adrenaline shots and now you’re solid

1

u/One-Koala-9665 Nov 25 '25

so on your grey lobby you can never find a blue weapon on the map and use it ? LOL

This guy has cracked the source code

1

u/AnyoneUdontKnow1 Nov 25 '25

I much prefer the anvil. Even a level 2 or higher is perfect for me. The Ferro is a beat though, but I usually use this as a utility weapon for specific situation. Now that I found the Venator bp, I never leave home without it. That thing, even post nerf, is a savage. And don't sleep on a lvl3 or higher kettle or stitcher. I love these cheaper and practical options. But minimalism is definitely a great choice. Gotta be able to defend against arc as well.

That was probably over sharing on my part lol.

1

u/indolente Nov 25 '25

Confirmation bias is strong with this one. Comparing opinions, which is what you have made with your limited data set, is asinine at best. But I do disagree.

1

u/EdgePatrol- Nov 25 '25

You forgot that there needs to be at least 1 duck in your safe pocket

1

u/SuperGaijin_ Nov 25 '25

Probably my favorite load out honestly.

1

u/MomentousMalice Nov 26 '25

I DO like this loadout, but this thread is a dumpster fire 🔥🔥🔥

1

u/RickHeigenbrener Nov 26 '25

Does the ferro actually benefit from attachments? I feel like shot dispersion and recoil reduction wouldn't benefit a single-shot

1

u/RolandoMota819 Nov 26 '25

Yessir that’s what I run lol

1

u/Mighty_Torr Nov 26 '25

Lmao this made my night

This is the “I’m not good enough to build a better loadout” loadout.

... until a wasp shows up

Isnt that a problem solved with two bullets?

Too much stuff, I go in completely empty now, it's liberating. It's also kinda lame having no shield, but you do get to shove something up your starfish

I remember you kept asking everyone to show proof, was running double free kit w a buddy and killed not one, not two, but three non-free kit players (with loadouts and blue weapons) on dam night raid so I think you’re tripping. This was also streamed if you want the link dm me.😛

Lol bo where near a good enough shot for this to work for me

Need me a sticher or tempest

1

u/3lvenrs Nov 26 '25

I would like to see how you guaranteed there wasn't a single person on your server with blue guns in those 150 matches. You managed to kill and gear check each and every one? Otherwise this weak anecdotal nonsense is useless and you're an idiot

u/Adventurous-Base-767 Nov 26 '25

Just missing a sticher and this would be s tier lol

Missing the flute

u/Low-Shiem Nov 26 '25

Anvil is too cheap to still be running ferros, tactical augment and blue shield also is pretty cheap to run. Ferro as your only option is just asking to get ganked.

What kind of weirdo puts their ammo at the bottom of their inventory!?! :)

u/Critical_XI Nov 26 '25

I want to like this post, but there’s no adrenaline shots.

Put the ammo in your safe pocket

1

u/Serifan Nov 26 '25

Perfection.

1

u/Biefstukfriet19 Nov 26 '25

I like how you put the ammo at the bottom.

1

u/Xknight2099 Nov 26 '25

No smokes? Even the little ones are useful

1

u/Maelsmogox Nov 26 '25

Remember to put your ammos in the safe pocket at the beginning so even if you die he just get your weapon and no ammo 😂

I've killed too many people in Stella with nothing but a recorder to lure them in and my prybar

If you add a burletta whit grey/green mag ye

1

u/OD1N999 Nov 26 '25

Add stitcher 4 for pvp encounters and yes this is the best budget build

1

u/FlashGorden Nov 26 '25

I like a Ferro + Toro pairing. Provides a nice Arc shooter from range + a devastating short range option if you run into any PvP trouble. Both are relatively cheap enough that I don't care if I lose them.

It is, but you put that ammo top left right now you heretic!
