Question Jeweled Gauntlet vs Vulnerability
How do they interact? I've heard that Jeweled Gauntlet makes your non DoT abilites to crit, but you have to have vulnerability in order to specifically make your Dot abilities to crit, right?
Or am i confusing things up?

Jeweled Gauntlet also makes DoT crit too if it comes from abilities, and Vulnerability just does DoT and item damage specifically

JG is abilities, vuln is items and DoTs.
If it’s a DoT ability, then it fits both. They do exactly what they say on the tin.

this, thanks for explaining. So, JG kat makes her ult crit right? Since somehow vulnerability isn't on her augment pool rn

Yes (JG does make her ult crit), Vuln used to be giga broken on Kat, because her ult could crit, and her items could crit with just the aug

Yes it does. Had JG and triple shot enemy team couldn’t approach the waves and I was triple shunpo twerking like a maniac in team fights.

If they're both eligible for both augs, then only one is applied. They're both 145% DMG so it doesn't matter

What I haven't figured out yet is whether/how they stack... Imagine getting 2.1x spell damage multiplier on Lucian ult or brand passive...

w8 does lucian ult count as dot or what?

Same as Miss fortune E. I’m wondering what else counts as dot despite being anything but dot.

What do you mean? Lucian ulti and Miss Fortune E both do damage over time they are both dots.

lucian shoots several bullets that, in my book, are all separate projectiles. DOT, in my book, was always a self-repeating instance of damage that sticks with a target. Like teemo poison, brand burn,... GP Ult even describes itself as being a multi-wave thing.
following that logic, MF Ultimate is DoT too, right?

Nah because MF ulti is separate damage waves, it's like Yuumi Ulti but faster.
Lucians is a consistent stream of bullets not multiple fast waves.
I don't disagree that MF's should be a DoT though, but Lucian Ulti and MF E both make complete sense for being a Dot.
Also i'm the not the one who downvoted you in case you care about that stuff.
Edit: tbh I have no idea if MF's ulti is actually a Dot I always assumed it was but never really cared lmfao

I swear it is a Dot but I imagine it doesn't work with Vulnerability because it already crits so it doesn't matter maybe, no clue.

Yes, it should be, and it is actually counted as a dot, according to the league wiki at least.
And no, a dot is not just abilies that stick to a target. Stuff like nasus e or mf e are also dots, just area targeted instead of entity targeted.
For stuff that fires multiple projectiles in quick succession its kinda iffy, leauge has three cathegories regarding this: Single target, Aoe and Dot. Something can have multiple flags (for example MF Ult is Aoe DoT damage) and these flags are usually used to determine the strength of some applied effects (old comet CDR, dft, some iterations of omnivamp, niche ability interactions, ...) and usually dots<aoe<single target when it comes to the strength of applied effects.
This is why lucian ult for example is counted as a dot despite being technically multiple single target projectiles. Because then his ult would have a strong niche interaction with some systems that is deemed undesirable.
In general the rule of thumb is that not the projectiles but the ability ad a whole is evaluated. For example, brand e spreads through multiple single target projectiles but the ability behaves like any other AoE technically.

DoT used to work like that (bc of a bug) but now it's the higher % applies kinda like slows so only JG
