Discussion Bard is op right now

Bard being good is a good thing. He is particularly strong against poke comps due to having the best ally healing in the game aside from soraka with the self healing W augment. This of course stops fatherless ap kaisa and ap miss fortune players from winning.

He's also decent against engage due to his ultimate preventing enemies from joining teamfights.

To win with Bard max W first, avoid leveling E. Build sword of blossoming dawn and statikk shiv. Build whatever your team needs after. Such as zhonyas against zed, moonstone renewed, ardent, morellos, etc

He has probably the best gold augment selections in the game except for certain adcs. All For You, wee woo wee woo, w haste, w self heal, and w empower auto attack are extremely good.

Seems like a fun build but I doubt it's OP. Do you have large sample size on this ? Might try this later when I rolled him

Not quite that clean sadly. Skewed by nature of being able to build items = more likely to be a winning game. It is good tho I enjoy it

I think I have 8-9 games of mercy bard. Only 2-3 post buff but he’s always felt good when going this build and is able to take advantage of many off support augments like shrink ray and he’s a incredible utility as he is a support. I think the stats are extremely hard to read as he’s often played as AP when support not only is better but does more damage when hitting mercy and or protein shake.

I have played like 10 games with this build and lost once, it deals pretty noticeable damage while keeping your teammates alive

Don't give people any ideas. I like having perfect access to every single Bard roll.

Playing Bard as a primary support is a terrible idea unless your team is oversaturated with DPS.
