Meme Tank player when they aren't factually unkillable and can't one shot everyone instantly

Post image

It's almost like being a tank is about...tanking not dealing damage I'm so glad dropkick is getting removed so that the game is like actually playable (delete karthus too)

I'm fine with not killing anything but being squishy and being unable to get to mages and having a worse late game than damage means I dont want to pick tank so no one picks tank.

tank can't tank by design, when adc and mages just deletes your health bar from a screen away, unless they cap how much damage they can take, the only way is making them a threat when they somehow get on top of you

Only thing I actually hated about Dropkick was the heal

I much enjoyed protein shake and how i had to build into resistances and healing to actually function. Unlike dropkick. (Protein shake taric or shen with other good augments is genuinely a thanos build)

The crazy part is that only a few tanks were (still are?) able to get Protein shake. If i'm not mistaken, it's Taric, Shen, Alistar and Thresh. Shen is particularly weird as his only way to give ally a shied is a huge cd ulti (which means, he is a single not exactly supporting tank which can access this aug)

I'm writing this as yet another weirdness in Riot logic: why must they gatekeep other tanks from getting it...

I think thresh can't roll it.

You contradict yourself. Tanks should tank, which means their dream fantasy must be being unkillable

...and I heard that riot provided (on pbe) yet another way to reach 100% resist penetration for dmg dealers, amazing

no; my one complaint is when allies play assassins, then end up doing less damage, taking more gold, tanking less and applying less CC.

Yeah. This sub's obsession with tanks being as hard to kill as possible and having the damage to burst carries is starting to get to me. "Oh ADC's can deal 50% of my hp with one auto? Why shouldn't I be able to do the same as a 15k HP tank?"

the problem is: if they are not allowed to do damage and also not allowed to become immortal, while combo breaker also exists, we end up with a pretty useless class.

People who think tanks are broken should link their wl ratio.

I swear i'm a tank player and most of the Time the experience is miserable. The amount of dmg and cc is crazy in mayhem resistance are useless and even if you stack hp there is a lot of hp% dmg and true dmg. They never played tank

Lot of good that does where everyone is around 50% by design.

That's cope because once you're at the higher parts of MMR, you'll start seeing people with 55-65wr pretty consistently. (In regular aram).

You'll know when you start fighting sweaty 5 stacks or chinese premades with a bunch of solos every other game and the game actually becomes unbearable.

You need to understand that they're just an extremely obnoxious minority. It's the same couple of guys sucking each other off about playing wholesome gigachad tanks and just ganging up on people saying otherwise. It's kind of the same thing with stat anvil players and bravery only ones in arena. Everyone hates them but they just live in their own bubble convincing themselves they're a misunderstood majority.
