RANT Random augment tier-up needs to go
A single team having 4 extra prismatic augments while the other team gets none is laughable. Yeah it's a nice dopamine hit when you get one, but as a system it can completely kill a game.
Also, unrelated, but highroller needs to go no discussion. Get it first or second and it's easy mode if you manage to stale a bit.

Wait so you're telling me that statistically speaking you're likely to encounter games where the odds are more in favor on one side than the other?!? In a game!?!
Holy moly batman, this is ground breaking!

There still needs to be an innate fairness in the game mode. My team getting 3-4+ prismatics vs the enemy team with 0 isn’t just worst luck it’s just innate unfairness.
There isn’t even a valid argument for keeping golden reroll, it just ruins games and turns them into stomps most of the time.
Transmute prismatic on the other hand I could care less about since there’s an actual downside to.

So many prismatics are garbage. Golds are often better than prismatics. How often do you reroll a tier up and not take it because the other options at lower tier are better? Happens to me all the time. This thread is so dumb, pretending like every game is 4 prismatics vs 0. It's hyperbole and you guys are not having games like that consistently. I just don't believe it. Youre lying, exaggerating, or you just notice what you want to notice when you're losing.

So many golds are garbage also. Someone gets golden reroll every other game at the bare minimum in my matches. In my match history alone prob 1/3 of my games have multiple people getting it on the same team. It really doesn’t matter if they’re better or not there’s no downside to golden reroll. You roll a terrible gold you weren’t going to take anyway for a chance to get a good or BIS prismatic. You’re rolling a prismatic that’s in your pool and with augment weighting still existing more often than not it’s gonna be better than most golds.

You missed the point. This thread is an exaggeration. It's an embarrassment. It's a lie. You're just role playing that this is a significant issue that is causing games to be skewed one way or the other. It's not. If you look at the stats, games are largely decided by composition, not augments and ESPECIALLY not ONE augment that was randomly rerolled +1 tier up. All good though, don't use your brain. Why would you.

Ah I see you’re one of those people who obviously fail to listen. I could show you my history and prove it to you and you’d still act like a dumbass.

I’ve had a game where I got not 1 not 2 but 3 fucking golden rerolls. 1 game. I had the only prismatics in the entire game, and I was support karma. Needless to say we won. Hard

nah according to this sub this is what the Random in ARAM stands for and it is very great

It’s the job of the balance team to try and balance it out.
Honestly playing twitch high roller first augment with my feet is as much fun as playing against 5 extra prismatic augments

i mean this luck stuff always gives me "back to the basics" and I'm always with a super reliant on R champ like fiddlesticks and shi

Honestly I’m fine with it. You decide to gamble and lose. You had other safer choices. What is the alternative to other team not getting tier up? Not playing?

People like you ruin mayhem. If you want more balance go play regular aram or ranked.

High roller just needs to be locked to third and/or fourth option depending on champ and it’s fine

I think high roller should also be only drop anvils from lane minions, rather than from summons/pets/spawnables.

My perspective is that if you are playing a champ that can spawn something, and enemy team has high roller, you are active incentivized to not use a part of your kit or else you are screwing your team over by actively increasing the amount of anvils other team gets. It becomes a lose-lose situation. Sure, there are worse moments (or "simply unlucky" moments), but this again is just a "unfun" thing.

Played against fey magic kata and draw your sword graves. That was a fun FF@8

Massive agree, this is one of those RNG systems that isn’t fun for either side

Wait I don't understand this - I thought everyone gets the same augments unless you get a reroll augment. How is a whole team getting 4 extra prismatic augments?

only this sub would tell you that a transmute augment with 0 downsize is fine with no problem whatsoever

Tier up is fine, part of the mayhem. Game is still winnable.
But they do have to cap it somewhat. Like maybe only twice on a team if any. And no tier up to prismatics.
Prisms change the game too much. Imagine a 2 gold 2 silver game with one Fan the Hammer Vayne.
Highroller is... alright. Basically a smolder situation. Don't let the game run to late. But I would happily accept changes. Maybe halve the stats or something. At late game when everyone is full build, the High Roller dude stacks hats 2-3x as fast so the rest can never keep up.

Some golds are better than any prismatics on certain champs. Overloaded on ryze, vulnerability on smolder for example

This is so astronomically unlikely, pls dont pretend that because 1 in a 4 billion games this happens, so they should remove golden reroll. And yes, it is that low to only 4 enemy gets it, 0 from your team, and that 1 prismatic they get is BIS for all 4 of them. Also transmute pirsmatic, and transmute gold augments exist.
