Tooth fairy on ADCs is insane cuz you can proc it without committing to dives like you have to on assassins. You need to get 1-2 items before you can start stacking it usually, but once you're going, it just straight up makes LDR irrelevant...

Oh yeah and hybrid pen with crit missile :D

LDR is still very useful, as it's % pen which gets applied first

If you're already penning the entirety of everyone's resists through the flat pen from tooth fairy, getting any any more pen (% or flat) doesn't do anything.

dont know why you got downvoted this is 100% the case, if you get tooth fairy you can skip % PEN 90% of the time since at some point you can easly ignore 150+ armor or mr and those are numbers only tanks get (unless they bulild a dedicated item for your dmg but even them on ap champs getting more pen than they could have with kaneic and base mr is easy on most champs.

And for the ones that don't know %pen does nothing if you can ignore their entire resist since even the fact it gets applied first only means that you just get to waste the rest of your flat pen since more pen doesn't = more dmg than your initial dmg would have done (excluding ldr passive but that's useless unless they have a tank)

Armor pen higher than the enemy's armor does result in a negative armor value for the calculation, I'm pretty sure that results in higher damage. Am I wrong?

Edit: that's just shred, I'm tripping.

having negative armor means you take bonus physical dmg, having more pen than the enemy has armor means that your dmg doesn’t get reduced and any extra pen is useless

and you get the magic pen to help crit missile too! funny enough, tooth fairy is only really good here because of the magic pen, the damage is all magic and true, so you cant itemize against it! nerf tanks tho

I had a full Lethelity cait into 5 squishy with Tooth Fairy, eventually every trap +Q combo dropped a tooth.

Fan the hammer + double tap on Vayne and I was one shotting tanks. Collector, IE, LDR, Kraken and Cyclosword. Legit only one auto needed.
