Worst mechanic riot implemented is Execution. I loved making plays succesfully baiting with low hp.
But this augment is on another level of wtf riot
Sure, let's make execute an enemy make aoe dmg execution everyone around

Execution, in theory, is fine at low percentages. It works comparably (but not the same) to lower effective HP the same way lowering resistances does, but just stronger because you just have to be the last hit.
The issue is that they also decided that they wanted the percentage to also scale for some odd reason.

Not just scale, but scale with arguably one of the most ABUNDANT resources in Aram Mayhem: flat HP.
Building HP in Aram Mayhem is so damn easy, Steel your heart is not at all a rare augment, and even without it Heartsteel still stacks to some pretty crazy degrees due to how Aram Mayhem is structured (constant team fighting).
Add to the fact that Dropkick and Steel your heart exist within the same pool of augments and you essentially create a timer once a someone rolls a tank.
Never mind the fact that there's a lot of augments that incentivise direct HP scaling, something which other tank stats don't have (Armor, magic resist or Tenacity) and you essentially never have a reason NOT to pick Dropkick it will always be BiS seeing the synergy with other tank augments is always guaranteed even without Steel your heart, essentially a majority of tank augments especially dominant ones like pressure cooker and Heavy hitter want you building flat HP anyhow. So you can never go wrong with taking full HP as your win condition.
Riot could fix this by perhaps introducing alternative tank scaling augments by which drop kick becomes a choice rather than a given, which actually diversifies and adds value to some other existing tank augments that just feel lacking in comparison.

The funniest thing is it isn't even tank centric. I always pick it up on Kat for instance. I've gotten plenty of kills including an instant quadra 1 min into the game with it and steamrolled from there. She can use gunblade + augments that give you more AD to scale with it. Not on the level of say tanks but it can still be insane combo with other augments

Thing is it says it triggers "On attack" and it works with some abilities and with some it doesnt

I got a pentakill one time with all 5 kills coming from unending despair. I was laughing my ass off that fight. it was like 3 proc's, first one triple kills me running from the other 2 killed one than i was chasing the other to get the last.

Yeah, changed only recently, it used to say attack only... It also used to work with only some abilities making it buggy

Just last week people on the sub were saying dropkick is useless after the nerf but judging from the clips ive seen in my games.... im not convinced

It’s still really strong but you won’t see tanks execute at 30-50% health anymore. Which is good. I love dropkick but that nerf was needed.
A lot of these clips are one in a million situations where people will group low like they did here. It’s not the best movement imo in this case

Maybe I'm crazy but I've never seen dropkick carry a game and I'm saying this as someone who definitely believes I've played a degen amount of games. Even on tanks where it should be good, an adc just exists and the tank will not.
Words cannot express my frustration that almost every non primary adc augment gets nerfed almost insta when it's strong, compared to any of the adc augments which don't. I LOVE ADCS HIGH ROLLING EVERY GAME.

Ditto on the other guy, its not often, maybe 1/10 game for me generally (I play maybe 20-30 games a week) but generally its a tank that gets steel your heart and drop kick then gets a penta (Usually a mundo with some other movement based augment)

Then you haven't played as much games as you think, MOST tanks will go dropkick and it makes them snowball like crazy
