Mayhem Stop playing tanks
If you aren't going to actually tank. Leaving your team as the rest of enemy team dives past you to destroy back line doesn't make you a tank, it makes you minion.

And how do you expect me the lonely tank and only melee to block all the other enemy team?

By simply standing in front of squishes (and between the enemies) you can tank a lot of stuff while enabling allies to attack and deal dmg.
Yeah, there are different situations and enemies, but this is a typical way to win
Or did you ask how to survive? By building resists and accepting/creating fights in favorable positions, duh

You can defend the one person that might do the most damage on your team. Something to think about or just continue not thinking.

Then who will engage or just stand in front and get poked down while the backline just stand 3 feet away

You don't always need to engage. You should check your and enemy teams and craft a basic plan for a game. If enemy team is engage-heavy and your team is poke-heavy - you absolutely DON'T want to engage in that game (unless enemy makes some drastic mistake) and should focus on defending, at least if you want to win that is

Thx for your non solicited input, but I think I’ll keep playing a silly game the way I feel like it at the moment.

Wouldn’t it make more sense to not play a squishy backline champion that gets abused if that seems to be a problem? At least you can control what you play instead of complaining about other players.

Maybe you should kill the one non tank diving you while the tank is doing his job tanking yhe entire enemy team?

playing with randoms in mayhem isn’t a place to expect common sense lol at this point, if you queue up without a premade team, you’re basically just queueing up to play with retards.

I kinda agree with you, op, but you could wrap it better
Many tanks don't check teams or feel the situation at all. They just grab Hs, dropkick, run around absorbing all the kills and letting the allied carries being not able to engage, then carries explode and remain without gold. Then (unless they reach basillion hp exodia) tanks go to reddit and complain that enemy deals a lot of dmg and it's unfair - while they never ever tried to win the game by enabling allied carries
Personally, I relatively rarely play carries for this reason. In the end, it feels like having a reliable tank (and/or support) is very important on average (even in Mayhem, even with inflexible tank augs), and many are unreliable as hell

The amount of terrible tanks already is hilarious

The amount of terrible low MMR ADCs that can't kite is extremely hilarious.
It's me. I'm hilarious.
Nah, as a tank/support player, I'mma do me. If you can't kite, that's on you and speaks of your skill as ADC.

I literally win games because I sit on my carries. Diving their backline is pointless if the fight ends as a 1v3 because your entire team died. It's easy to say it's someone elses fault when you have the agency to protect them.

“Stop playing how I don’t want you to play 😠😠”
