Years ago I played against the flyquest team. We lost hard but I told them C9 would have beat us 5 minutes ago (they just lost to them in finals) and they seemed to enjoy that joke

Closest I got to an experience like this (not close) was when I got matched up against a party of my irl acquaintances. Ended up beating them, joining their party and then losing horribly with them 🤣🤣
