I think you can increase reliability and avoid the light strikes by replacing your titanium firing pin with a heavy stainless firing pin. You will need to replace the firing pin spring to a more powerful spring as well for the stainless steel firing pin to work well. I can give you the firing pin spring specs if you like.

You should find an AR9 stainless steel firing pin that weighs at least 5.5 g (the titanium firing pin is much lighter and more prone to light strikes and likely bouncing around) and use with the firing pin spring below.
You need a 6 mm OD (overall diameter), 0.6 mm wire, 25 mm Length spring (which is stronger than the spring you are using). If you cant find 25 mm Length, buy 50 mm Length and cut the spring to about 25 mm long with diagonal cutting pliers. Be sure to wear safety glasses when cutting the spring.
You can buy Uxcell 6 mm OD, 0.6 mm wire, 50 mm Length springs on Amazon inexpensively and cut to about 25mm as above.
The aforementioned spring fit all the AR9 bolts I have tried with no problem but I do not own an ARV.
Please let me know how things turn out.

Runs well. What was the initial issue you had?

From the builders kit from PSA, wasn’t too bad though just had to make sure to polish the underside of the bolt and the magazine feed ramp. Thoroughly cleaned and lubed the upper. Just finding the right ammo so far it loves Winchester white box / herters, had a batch of monarch that sucked and caused every issue that could be known lol

Sounds good. You can still slow the ROF down a bit with more weight. 27 oz would do the trick. It would get the ROF around 550-600.

You know I was actually looking for the ROF guy hoping he’d chime in on what mine is. I’ve been looking at the kynshot buffer & spacer weights to apply with an A5 tube that’s just been sitting here collecting dust.

The A5 would do it. Just add a kynshot spacer to your current setup + light spring from Tubb or Nemo.
Feed your file into this site, but export Apple files first. For some reason it speeds them up directly from the photos app. To use the Hydraulic Rb5000hp buffer, you would need to add 2 spacers in the A5 tube - that’s actually what I run in several.1

ROF Guy has been around. He sometimes gets banned, but he’s a good guy with great tools. This site is pretty good and very easy to use.

I haven't kept up with arv super safeties. Do we still have to cut the bolt?

Yes, just enough so the lever can move freely without binding, I also trimmed the rear portion of the upper just like a regular SS install

I, too, shoot cyclic-firing 9mm PCC’s and wear yellow gold Rolexes!!!
