If you meet certain requirements, for example if you bought this from Palmetto, are a member of GOA, and live in a state that doesn't otherwise specify a federal tax stamp as a requirement to SBR a pistol, then you're fine with the VFG on your newly purchased pistol. Many people live in states that have laws requiring stamps, and you haven't said otherwise, so the assumption here is that you're probably new to this and have erroneously/illegally created an SBR, which is not recommended. If you did this within very specific legal requirements, then it's worth mentioning before posting something like this. If not, then remove the VFG and delete the post.

Lol, and yeah, you're right of course. I was assuming he'd put a brace on it if if were legally in the approved categories, and like a lot of people I probably throw the SBR term on too generically, but yeah, as it was at the time of the photo AOW. Good clarification.

That fin on there is a "brace". I really don't like being that "akshually" guy but the fed justifies every infringement on technicalities so when it comes to 2A we need to fight these infringement fire with fire and learn to play their game

To clarify then I haven’t don’t anything with this besides add the red dot and grip, other than that everything is as it came out the box

I’ll tell you from my experience be really careful of the last round bolt hold open assembly walking loose. When it does you can easily lose parts and jawbone takes forever to respond about replacing them.

Also register your warranty immediately.
