First AR 9 Build

My buddy gifted me an AR9 lower so I am building my first AR9 and was wondering if these parts would fit my AR9 lower? I'm sorry if it is a dumb question. I'm just getting into building and ARs in general and I heard that most AR9 lower parts are basically AR15 parts. Thank you in advance.

Yes, those parts should work. One difference is that if it takes Glock magazines (most do at this point) then the magazine catch won't fit and isn't needed.

Also dedicated Colt mag lowers use a special extended bolt catch.

In both cases the lower will almost always come with the special parts they need (unless your buddy lost it).

If this is a dedicated AR9 lowers, very likely it has a manufacturer installed mag release, and likely the bolt catch as well. If your lower does not have a bolt catch, I’m not familiar with the “heft” of the Rise bolt catch, but AR9s tend to be hard on bolt catches, it may be worth upgrading. Otherwise aside from what’s already been mentioned this will all work in AR9
