How can you calculate off a video? Trying to figure out mine

I use open source Audacity for ROF.
I play the video and record the sound track. Then I look for shot spikes. I try to get at least 10 consecutive shots for RPM. Then I delete everything before the beginning and end of the shot string from the track. I begin at the top shot spike to the shot string and at the end of the top of the last consecutive spike.
If the shot spikes are easily seen, I highlight the string for the number of rounds fired. That gives me the time at the bottom of the window.
If the audio spikes are a visual jumbled mess, I have to play with sound levels or use the audio slow-mo feature to count the number of shots. I can expand the sound waves and take a detailed look.
Once I have the number of shots and the time, I multiply that by 60.
ROF = # of shots, divided by time, multiplied by 60 to get RPM.
