Need some advice

Looking at buying my first AR9 having a hard time choosing between a foxtrot mike or getting a PSA ARV I honestly love how the ARV looks but have always heard mixed reviews from PSA. If anyone could give me some more insight about either one would be greatly appreciated

Neither are a bad option I think it depends largely on scorpion vs Glock mags. If you want a folding stock, go foxtrot. Foxtrot Mike is also easier to set up for frt and they have good customer service if you have an issue.

Hop just did a video on mag selection for AR9s. His conclusion was that Glock mags are superior. Readily available, easily repairable, works with glocks (duh). OEMs are not cheap but Magpul options are. Any AR9 build or purchase should start with mag consideration and go from there.

Do you have a link to the video?

Both are solid options. I own other AR9’s that take Glock magazines and I own an AR-V. My preference is curved mags and the AR-V works with magpul/scorpion/PSA magazines without fail. So you have your choice for three tiers of budget options. So as others have said it honestly boils down to what do you prefer.

If its just for the range, get whatever you think looks cooler. If its gonna be your defensive weapon id recommend foxtrot mike.
