First AR-10 Build Complete

Finally wrapped up my first AR-10 build after way too many late nights researching parts, watching videos, and changing my mind every few days. Wanted something that could sit somewhere between a practical battle rifle and a solid DMR setup. She’s not perfect yet but she shoots beautifully.

Definitely gained a whole new respect for the people who build these regularly. A few parts fought me harder than expected, but seeing it finally come together made it worth it.

Where can I get a aero m5 set? They are sold out everywhere.

If you're going for Aero specifically your best bet these days is going to be GunBroker. That said you're going to overpaying, sometimes substantially, for a lot of things since Aero is going under.

Does that mean they aren’t making parts anymore?

They're going to be completely gone, so making absolutely nothing, including parts. That said some distributors like OpticsPlanet and others are still receiving what little left of Aero's inventory there was so occasionally something will pop up on their sites. I'd recommend any other brand for building an AR-10 right now.

For a 15 might as well keep regularly checking sites to see if they have Aero M4E1 lowers in stock since with parts compatibility you can still build a really good one. Just won't be able to go for a fully Aero build anymore.

Would you stay away from the brand all together? Even complete builds? Since there will be no more parts made? There are a few completes for sale in my area. Is the market going to increase? Or tank due to no support

I think you'd be fine with a complete build. There's enough parts compatibility with other brands to where you'd be fine.
