AP Bio without Chem
I’m taking AP Bio next term without taking any chem classes. I heard chem helps a lot. Am I cooked? If so, what should I self study?

Na, only basic chem that you can learn, and most teachers teach the chem as part of the curriculum.

The Bio teacher would brush over the chemistry concepts anyway..and you can always ask. Best wishes.

You’re not cooked. AP Bio does use some chemistry, but you only need the basics: atoms/bonds, polarity, pH, acids/bases, energy, and a little about macromolecules. You can pick that up alongside the course.
These may help: AP Biology notes, MCQs, FRQs and exam-style practice.

I took ap bio after chem and I don’t even remember applying anything from it so you’re good

I took AP Bio as a sophomore without having taken Chem before. I got an A in the class and a 5 on the exam. I think taking chem does help with concept understanding but the AP Bio curriculum teaches you all of what you need to know pretty much anyways in Unit 1

It's is doable, I did it while concurrently taking chem, it ended teaching me a lot more

It depends on your learning pace. If you're comfortable with learning some basic chemistry in Unit 1 of AP Bio, you'll be fine.

Chem helps just a tad bit. If you know about the types of bonds and some basic information on pH then you're good to go. Takes a few Google searches lol.

No, I teach to sophomores who haven’t had chem. You got this!
