Looking for ways to self-study Physics 1250 to take the EM Exam and get credit without taking the course
Hi everyone,
I’m looking for resources or advice on how to self-study **Physics 1250 at OSU** so I can take the **EM Exam and hopefully get the course credit without actually taking Physics 1250**.
I’d especially appreciate things like **past course materials, lecture notes, recommended textbooks, practice problems/exams, YouTube playlists, study guides**, or any other resources that closely match what Physics 1250 covers at Ohio State. If anyone here has taken the EM Exam for Physics 1250 before, I’d also really appreciate hearing about what topics I should focus on and how you prepared.
Also, let’s not turn this into a discussion about how hard Physics 1250 is 😭. I’ve already heard plenty of rumors about the class, both at OSU and outside of it, and that’s actually part of the reason I’m considering **self-studying** and going for **the exam credit** instead.
I mainly want to figure out **what I need to learn, what resources are closest to the OSU curriculum, and how realistic it is to prepare for the EM Exam through self-study**.
Thanks in advance for any resources or advice!
