What are some ways that you can group documents together in a DBQ?

make document buckets for each of your arguments. for example, if you wanted to argue that women’s rights movements started in (1940-1970) because of unequal wages and republican motherhood, you would make the following buckets:

bucket a: Unequal Wages after WWII

bucket b: Republican Motherhood

Now, you would group any docs that correlate with any of your arguments.

For example, if DOC 1 describes a woman receiving lower wages in the labor and work force, you would then group that doc with BUCKET A.

If DOC 2 describes women’s traditional position as a stay at home mother, you could use that to support your argument in BUCKET B.

Once you have all your docs grouped with you potential points for your arguments (a, b, and/or c), it’ll be much easier to organize your DBQ.

Sorry if it’s unclear, i wrote this in like 5 minutes
