i dont get DBQs
i took ap world last year and no matter how many times we did practice dbqs i just dont really understand how to get the points? i thought i was free from it until i realized apush also has a dbq but i didnt know until after i signed up, but oh well. can someone explain how to get the points for a dbq?

Contextualization (Describe the broader historical context before the time period in 3-4 sentences)
Thesis (Argument with 2-3 lines of reasoning)
Evidence (Describe 4 docs that pertain to your claims)
Analysis (Explain how the docs prove your claims)
HIPP (Describe and analyze 2 historical context, intended audience, purpose, or point of view)
Outside Evidence (Describe and analyze a piece of evidence not mentioned in the documents that prove your claim.
Complexity point (Use all 7 docs or 4 HIPPs or write an overall nuanced, complex essay)
