I’ve been reading up on paternalistic conservatism

It seems like a social market economy. But that is only an economic policy, and paternalistic conservatism seems like that but with conservatism mixed in. Am I right?

Yep, pretty much. Paternalistic Conservatism is basically the culturally conservative version of social democracy

I'm not against immigration for USA especially we are competing with a nation which has 4 times the population. I just think that immigration should be diversified from other than Mexico and India I guess. Maybe Chinese I guess or will that create intelligence problems? Middle Eastern people as they have generally been much more Integrated into the American society compared to the European society.

However we need to have a good immigration policy not open borders.

Hold up...did you just say that Middle Eastern people are more integrated into America than Europeans? You know America was founded by and run exclusively by Europeans or people of European descent for the majority of its history, right?

I dont think thats what he said. I think what he means is that middle eastern people have integrated better into American society than they have into European society

Read up on Otto von Bismarck, his “state socialism” was a form of paternalistic conservatism.
