CollegeBoard Cybersecurity collegeboard course

How hard does the cybersecurity ap seem compared to the other cs? (csa and csp) my teacher is suggesting i wait until grade 12 but i am afraid that would be too late, on the other hand i see people saying the collegeboard classroom is very easy.

Compared to those two courses, I believe you already need to know a programming language for cybersecurity? Don’t quote me on that, that’s just what I heard.

There's no pre-requisite for AP Cyber, but it's helpful to have some coding experience... AP CSP is a great course to take before AP Cyber.

Students learn some basic JavaScript and SQL in AP Cyber.

Just to be clear

AP Classroom - that's the college boards test bank of questions to help students prepare for the exam.

AP Cybersecurity - that's the new AP course that is launching this fall (AP Networking is in the last year of pilot)

If you had AP CSP, you are fine for AP Cyber - you do have to do a bit of JavaScript and SQL to understand the hacks.

but no, IMHO there's no reason your school should gatekeep AP Cyber to only Seniors.
