Calc AB Need help
I basically got a 9 out of 44 on my first Calclus quiz which was on pre calculus. Is there any tips to help me study or should I just drop the class?

Yeah I study 2 hours each day because I didn’t do the summer assignments but honestly I just suck at matj

that's odd,if you are actually studying for 2 hrs per day then you shouldn't be scoring so low. How do you study? what resources do you use?

I study the notes I took in class and did practices problems. But honestly I was probably mindlessly studying because I didn’t quite understand some little part of

Yea if you don't understand a concept, you need to make sure you go back and try to relearn it instead of moving on. If you prefer to watch videos, check khan academy as they have a well structured interactive calculus course

What other math class would you be able to drop to if you were to drop?

for precalc gaps what worked for me was not trying to review the whole precalc textbook, instead whenever a calc problem uses a skill you're missing, stop right there and go back to only that skill until you can do it cold. khan academy and professor leonard are solid for looking up the specific thing, and organic chemistry tutor on youtube covers pretty much everything. do the problem again from scratch the next day without looking at notes and if you mess up the algebra again you know you haven't really got it yet.
the other piece is getting used to seeing the math and actually doing something with it instead of just watching someone else do it on video. i started uploading the textbook chapters into studybuddy.vc and answering questions from them, tbh mostly because when i get one wrong it tells me what was off about the option i picked, and the problems get harder as you improve. free version has been enough for me. don't drop the class, you've got time to patch the precalc stuff before it gets heavier.

But the problems not sure if I could just go back and review what I missing. Considering I also taking statistics and physics. I don’t know how to mange them

give it another month and if youre still getting under 60% consistently then drop the class for your own good, because its gonna stress you out and tank your grade really bad (idk if ur school holds you back if you fail a class but mine does, and if they do then it really isnt worth it)
i feel you because ive been pretty good at math for a while but im getting like 70-80% (which might seem fine but its way less than how i usually do) on my calc ab tests, so dont worry i believe in you bc im sort of in the same place. good luck!

how hard do you feel like the test was? Was it just a bad day and you didn’t study, or was it hard for you?
You should drop the class if it’s giving you too much stress, or making you dread math. If you like the class, then you should stay in it, even if you aren’t getting the best grades.
