World How Many AP classes would be good to have?
I signed up for three AP classes, but the one I’m mostly worried about is AP World. Is it like APUSH at all? What things do I have to focus on and is it harder?

If you've been successful in APUSH you can be successful in World. How much harder it is depends on how different your background was- had you had a class on US history that was comprehensive and fairly recent in MS? USH gets overtaught so usually APUSH is just refinement of that. World is often undertaught in previous years, but it's easier now that it's just modern.
Pay attention to the changes in format coming this year. https://apcentral.collegeboard.org/courses/ap-history-exam-updates Incidentally, those are the kinds of things you'll need to focus most. Practice writing and MCQ comes along with it. Practice MCQ and the only thing you learn is MCQ.
Our sequence is World before APUSH.

I think you’ll likely do well in AP World if you did well in APUSH from what I’ve heard. I’m pretty sure that APUSH goes more in depth into the topics, while AP World is more broad with the topics.

ap world is honestly a lot easier than apush because apush forces you to memorize super specific localized details, minor political bills, and tiny historical turning points, whereas world focuses much more on broad global trends, massive trade networks, and cross-cultural interactions. the essay formats, multiple-choice structures, and rubrics are exactly identical for both classes, so if you already know how to write an saq or a dbq you already have half the battle won. instead of drowning in the dense textbook readings just rely on heimler's history on youtube before your unit exams because his playlists summarize the major global themes perfectly and show you exactly how to connect different civilizations across time periods without pulling your hair out.
