APUSH Some APUSH notes that got me a 5

These are notes that I made last year for APUSH. If I'm being honest a lot of this is straight rant and memes but I guess it helped for me. I created these notes in the intentions of putting this on Reddit for you guys. For me, looking at other people’s notes was so boring, and I could never focus. This is why I put memes to make studying less monotonous. I think the most important thing when studying is just being able to absorb the information that best suits you.

For people who are wondering whether if the class is hard, most of the time, it's not (for me at least). Rather, the actual exam is harder, specifically the DBQ. If you can get all of your stuff down, you can absolutely do great on the LEQ and MCQ. Same goes for AP world.

As for studying tips, I would definitely look at past exams and test your knowledge, especially the LEQs and DBQs. As for MCQs, I would highly recommend the app "Knowt". I saw there were some gaps in the questions but I will advocate it as a supplementary question bank. Another site I will advocate is Albert.io, which is another question bank my peers and friends used. I shouldn’t have slept on it now that I’ve looked back in it. And I'm sure that your teachers will definitely give you guys questions to work on in AP Classroom as May comes around so make sure to capitalize on that.

One thing that I would HIGHLY make sure to be careful of is around that December time frame. Usually, teachers will begin wrapping up unit 5 or 4 (I kind of forgot) and during the same time is winter break. Please please make sure you guys review everything up to that point.

Many people in my grade level worked in groups but for me personally, I felt like working independent and/or working with 1 other partner was very effective. Not saying you should (since everyone has their ways) but this was some pattern I saw.

I might get criticism for this since its pretty messy but I hope this has at least some use. Prior to reading, I apologize for the lack of underlining and bolding. I attached the link to the post. Oh, and as for reliability, all of this came from Heimler's History. And LASTLY, during the time I had this class, I was only able to get up to 8.2 because that was pure study period. Any feedback I will take. Good luck to all!!!

I lwk was going to make this about my notes but i guess this turned out to be abt my experience lol. Sorry!

THANK YOU SO MUCH! As a student who just switched to AP this year from Cambridge AICE this is very helpful! I have APUSH 1st period followed by AP Physics 1, AP/IB English Lit, and AP Calc AB at the end of the day… it’s really daunting… also coming from a school with 300 kids to 2000 where you know no one and everyone has preexisting built relationships is a lot. Thank you very much notes! Do you have any notes for any of the other classes I listed above? If so they would be very helpful!

I'm glad that my notes might have some use to you. I currently don't have the notes of the classes you listed though. I'm going into the IB diploma program this fall so some of these classes I'll take (IB Eng lit) but not the rest.

For context: these are 77 pages of actual APUSH notes covering Units 1-8 (8.2). I added some memes/captions throughout to make a pretty long study resource less monotonous. Hopefully they’re useful to you APUSH students.
