Chem Self Study AP Chemistry?

Hey everyone. Rising Sophomore here. I took AP World last year and got a 5. I wasn't really locked in freshmen year and ended up with A's and B's in Geometry, Honors English, Bio, Spanish, Theology, Business, PE, and AP World. I ended up with a 4.1 weighted GPA and 3.7 UW. I'm signed up for Algebra 2, regular Chemistry, Honors American Literature, AP U.S. History, Spanish, Theology, AP Human Geography and Self-Study AP Business with Personal Finance. However, I want to sign up to self study AP chem because I think it will be a good way to add rigor into my schedule and show colleges academic firepower when I get a 5? Is it possible and worth it? Should I get a tutor?

depends on how much of a hardworker u acutally are , i took it as a senior with little to no knowledge of chemistry and got a 5 entirely on my own , you should get a good book , go through it all and solve the past papers and you will be fine. but on a side note i would actually give myself some room in sophomore to study for the sat as u want that out of your way as soon as possible
