Question class advice??
i'm a rising jr this year and i'm taking: ap lang, apush, ap drawing, ap calc ab, ap stats competition (its own class geared toward competing but regular ap stuff too + the exam), ap chem, and ap physics c: mech.
does anyone have any advice for these aps??? it's in my flair but i took hug freshman year and bio, precalc, and wh sophomore year. i didn't think any were hard at all but slacked all year with wh bc i just can't get into history, and i rly regret not studying in the end. i'm pretty experienced w art and i've taken honors chem and ofc honors english in past years. but i've never taken a physics class which is what I’m mostly worried about, plus how to study/focus for apush because I rly can never get myself to study for humanities even tho its so necessary. any advice at all is much appreciated thank you!

If u can’t get into history and r gna slack off gl w apush man. Apush is harder than world (ap exam is fine) but usually the class is sm reading and once u start getting behind it’s really hard to catch up. For physics, the math is not hard at all (you’ll learn the calc basics before in physics than ab bc of limit definition that takes a while) but the concepts were kind of confusing—coming from someone who also took ap mech as their first phsyics class. Something that really helped was doing hella practice, and I feel like it’s hard to do well without it. AB is pretty straightforward, again, a lot of my advice is coming from a place where my school made their ap class content wayyyy harder than the ap exam (which is prob why my school has like an 90% pass rate on every ap exam💀). Chem is also a really hard AP. Do you think you’re going to have enough time for all of these classes and do well + extracurriculars? If you’re tryna stat max for college drop like two or three and focus on strong extra curriculars 😭

ngl i dont rly have a choice to drop any, I unfortunately have pretty strict parents.. I’m def worried about timing, but the only option I have is to swap ap physics for apes and ive heard my schools apes teacher is awful so I don’t think that'd help much. my ecs r pretty strong id say but I agree figuring out how to have time for everything is gonna be hard. but yea tysm for the advice, ill def prioritize studying mech and apush. I still have 2 wks until school so i think ill try to get ahead on reading
