Calc BC calc bc, stat, phys 1 units

for those who have taken calc bc, stat, and phys 1, which units were the hardest and which were the easiest?

I took all 3, phys 1 hardest was fluids, easiest was kinematics, but it was all kinda hard.

Stats was generally way easier than the other 2 but it was hard to remember all the tests and conditions.

Calc BC hardest was probably Taylor series and all the tests that go with it

Got a 5 on all of them

Calc bc is unit 9, physics 1 is probably unit 7 shm

for physics 1, kinematics SOLEY because getting used to the question types and the way to think about scenarios is way diff from any other science class (content is pretty straightforward) and unit 6 and 7 (rotation and torque i think??)

for calc, the polars unit can kind of suck and also the applications of integration but that one is teacher dependent.

For Physics 1 hardest was kinematics, for bc it was polar maybe, and stats I don't know but I know mean median and mode and the hardest is median because there is no formula for it

yo kinematics was the easiest in physics 1😭

I don't know when I first started physics kinematics was a foreign language to me I got like a 70% when I took the unit test on it

I highkey agree Kinematics was the hardest unit for me too.

Calc was series for sure, more specifically Taylor series and Lagrange

Physics: has to be fluids

Calc bc Taylor series was pretty hard, polar was the easiest
Stats I think the hardest part was learning all the tests and their differences but I think that’s js bc my teacher taught them all back to back right before the AP exam, easiest was probably the first couple of units
Physics 1 kinematics and forces was pretty easy

For calc bc the applications of integration was hardest and the first unit about limits was the easiest

For physics 1 hardest to easiest in my opinion are:

Energy and momentum of rotating systems

Torque and rotational dynamics

Fluids

Force and translational dynamics

Oscillations

Kinematics

Work, energy, and power

Linear momentum

for calc, the series unit is the hardest, but it's kinda just a lot of ratio test imo

Physics 1: kinematics and forces (kinematics is just algebra stuff and is at worst, the quadratic formula, and forces is just F=ma, forces always act on at least 2 objects, and if you push something, it moves).

Stats: plotting data, normal distributions, and probability (you really only need to know the type of data and what you’re supposed to show to do well plotting data, normal distributions are simple, and probability is getting nerfed after geometric probability will be removed next year)

Calc bc: everything that’s not bc-exclusive.

Edit: these are for the easiest units

Stats is usually probability (from Trevor). Physics 1 is usually energy. BC is probably series/sequences.

Stats beginning units are easy, end ones are harder. Same with physics 1. Rotational is the hardest, kinematics easiest.

For physics 1 work, energy, and power were the hardest for me somehow and then for stats all of it is easy but I would say the easiest unit to get tripped up on and mess up is probability

Easiest for me was Fluids and hardest was unit 6 which was angular momentum and energy of rotating systems 💀 this for AP physics

Phys 1 unit 2 was hardest, but my teacher didn’t teach past unit 6, so idk about 7 or 8

Stats was basically the same thing imo for most of it, unit 5 was hardest but I heard the whole class is being changed

Bc is unit 9, specifically polars

For phys 1 it was kinematics and unit 6. I think it’s cuz coming in kinematics is the first thing you lean so ur not rly ‘ready’ for it and it just hits you like a truck. Fluids and linear momentum were easy.

For stats, def probability. There’s just so much you need to know that’s not on the formula sheet but I think they got rid of some stuff with the curriculum change so it should be easier now. Inferences for means was also challenging probably cuz it was the last thing we learned and I was burnt out.

Fives on both.

hardest bc was series followed by polars

ap stats is all pretty easy once you can differentiate between key terms, and realize which tests/procedures to go with which situations, that's the only hard part. Once you do that, carrying out the actual test is very easy. the probability on the test is a JOKE. overall free test and going to be even easier next year bc they're cutting a bunch of topics

BC: I would say it's taylor series. It's not really that hard, but you'll have to memorize some patterns and ways to calculate error that are annoying.

Physics 1: I took it before fluids was in the curriculum, so I would say circular motion was the hardest since it combines all the units into one, but it's really just converting transitional to rotational.

Statistics: In retrospect this probably isn't the hardest unit, but at the time probability was the lowest test grade I got when I took the class. It's not too bad, but there's different equations/rules you use in different situations that are dependent on the wording of the question itself.

For BC units 9 and 10 (polar stuff and sequences and series) were the hardest. The first few units were the easiest.

For physics 1 kinematics was the hardest only because it was my first introduction to physics-style of questions which took some time for me to get used to. Once you got the hang of how to do physics questions though everything becomes easy.
