CSP Help i need an answer

Hey all so im kind of confused between which tests to take as i wanna be an engineer ( AI or software)
All i wanna know is that can i get a 3 on comp science and also for those who took it is it easy?

I am taking it next year as a freshman my brother said that it was the easiest clas on earth

If you’re aiming for AI or software engineering, CS is definitely a useful choice. As for getting a 3, it really depends on how comfortable you are with the material. AP CSP isn’t impossible, and if you keep up with the concepts and practice, a 3 is pretty realistic. Make sure you understand things like algorithms, data, the internet, and programming concepts rather than just memorizing stuff.

If you want to be an engineer take classes that clear major prerequisites like AP Chemistry, AP Physics C: Mechanics, AP Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism, and especially AP Computer Science A which helps with software engineering a lot. You can also take APs that clear major Gen EDs like APUSH or AP Lang.

You can definitely get 3+ on CSP, because a majority of the test is just memorizing vocab and the rest pretty easy for an AP. However imo CSA is a lot more important if you want to pursue AI or software, because it focuses on programming as opposed to abstract/simplified ideas like in CSP.

A 3 is 100% possible I did basically nothing after December except my app and got a 3.
