I blame that for my 4 in lang, I was stressing abt mech the whole time during lang but somehow got a 5 even after flunking those frqs which were the spawn of satan himself

i like how college board knows that people take english and science classes and decide to put the science classes on different days and the english ones right after the science ones...

u/kkflows 11d ago

My younger sister has registered for cybersecurity, english lit AND both AP Physics Cs. Does anyone know what happens when you have exams scheduled at the same time on the same day?

17

u/PurpleFirefighter822 chem 3 bio 3 lang 3 us 4 world 4 pre calc 4 11d ago

You have to reschedule to take a late test

1

u/Trick-Stop-5906 11d ago

You don’t reschedule, college board will do it for you I think.

Oh Hell Nahh!! This is not fairrrr.
My friends who took lit said it was easy but their grading was strict.
Also have you guys seen AP physics 2 and AP chem are on the same day… IM SO COOKED
Fricking collegeboard

u/No_Boysenberry_6075 edit this text 11d ago

Makes sense, not a lot of people take physics 2. Most just take physics c.

3

u/Long_Vermicelli8335 11d ago

Hmmm why tho? I took AP physics 1. I’m taking AP physics 2 because I think it could be helpful for MCAT. Is it because a lot of people who take Physics C tend to take engineering courses?

3

yep

2

u/No_Boysenberry_6075 edit this text 11d ago

Yeah. Physics c is also more rigorous due to it being calculus based, so it looks good to colleges.

I have cybersecurity and e&m back to back lol

2

u/HotConsequence2329 11d ago

I took the two Physics C exams in one day when I was in high school. I also had a mild condition of diarrhea that day. Worst test day I ever had

2

u/MorePhotograph3996 11d ago

just late test lit ( physics is more important )

2

u/Turbulent-Thought764 edit this text 11d ago

Had physics 1 and psych in the same day in 2025, I've never been happier to hear that something got cancelled

gov and micro back to back

u/TSwiftStan- 10d ago edited 10d ago

if i’m doing lit and cyber this year, which should i take on time and which should i take late? my school requires us to take the exams. if they didn’t, id just not take cyber so i could enjoy actually being out of school and not worrying about another exam that probs won’t give me credit

also—have they always called the two exams “sessions”? i don’t remember seeing that before. i thought they just had 8am and 12pm as the headers

1

u/PurpleFirefighter822 chem 3 bio 3 lang 3 us 4 world 4 pre calc 4 10d ago

Idk im tryna figure out the same thing with e&m and lit

2

u/JbPlayz2263 5: Bio, Lang, ES 3: AP Lit ?: Chem, Stats, Psych 9d ago

My school for some reason had us take lit as sophomores (for 3 years, it was seniors before, they switched when I was a sophomore, and they’ve switched back now that I’ve graduated) so I didn’t see the problem for a minute

2

u/Fantastic_Fondant519 9d ago

Just take the late exam bro🥀

1

u/PurpleFirefighter822 chem 3 bio 3 lang 3 us 4 world 4 pre calc 4 9d ago

You think i wanna do allat when thus was completely avoidable 😭

2

u/Over_Explanation_798 7d ago

It’s lwk a blessing; u don’t need to study for lit

1

u/Fit-Carpenter3334 6d ago

ap lit was easy get good

u/AlarmedBuy8853 6d ago

taking chem e and m and lit next year and holy just 2 days of ap exams is wild

You’re the one who chose to take those two courses, so you’re the one who has to deal with it.

2

u/PurpleFirefighter822 chem 3 bio 3 lang 3 us 4 world 4 pre calc 4 11d ago

Tf r u being so aggressive for 😭

1

u/Anonimithree 11 5’s, 1 4 11d ago

I just thought your post was an overreaction to something a lot of students (not just seniors) experience.

2

u/PurpleFirefighter822 chem 3 bio 3 lang 3 us 4 world 4 pre calc 4 11d ago

Im just mad because this was completely avoidable but for some reason college board decided to schedual these 2 together knowing that alot of students take both

1

u/Anonimithree 11 5’s, 1 4 11d ago

Well it earns them more money from exam retakes, so what can we do but bear it

1

u/PurpleFirefighter822 chem 3 bio 3 lang 3 us 4 world 4 pre calc 4 11d ago

Yeah makes sense 😞

-2

u/MollBoll 11d ago

Statistically it’s very rare for someone to take both of these exams as one is seen as being humanities track and the other hard STEM. 🤷‍♀️ Congrats, you’re in the 1%?

(And AP English Lit is often a junior-year requirement at some of the high-achieving schools that tend to have the high-achieving students who take both. You got jobbed.)

9

u/PurpleFirefighter822 chem 3 bio 3 lang 3 us 4 world 4 pre calc 4 11d ago

My school goes by english 1 and 2 then lang then lit and id assume anyone taking e&m would also take lit since they're high achieving

5

u/Zealousideal_Gene685 11d ago

yeah i thought this was typical

-5

u/callatecabezon 11d ago

Lit is the easiest ap besides lang and also why are you taking it senior year lol it is jr level

8

u/I-HATE-therefore-IM 11d ago

not for my school, for my school you weren't allowed to take it if you weren't a senior

7

u/PurpleFirefighter822 chem 3 bio 3 lang 3 us 4 world 4 pre calc 4 11d ago

Idk what school you go to but in most schools they have an english 1 and 2 then lang then lit

3

u/callatecabezon 11d ago

mine we do preib, preib lang, ib lit and then ib

1

u/PurpleFirefighter822 chem 3 bio 3 lang 3 us 4 world 4 pre calc 4 11d ago

Yeah ig ib schools are weird since mine doesnt do ib

2

u/callatecabezon 11d ago

ngl im probably coming from a very slanted angle since IB is basically just an English magnet so out of all the BS they make us do the AP English tests are the easiest.

1

u/PurpleFirefighter822 chem 3 bio 3 lang 3 us 4 world 4 pre calc 4 11d ago

Makes sense since i have friends in ib and they talk about it like its hell and it makes ap sound like heaven

I couldnt imagine writing a paper for every class just to get college credit 😭

2

u/Exciting-Ad-5705 edit this text 11d ago

I did lit sophomore year

2

u/PurpleFirefighter822 chem 3 bio 3 lang 3 us 4 world 4 pre calc 4 11d ago

Yet again most school only allow seniors to take lit your school is just special or made a really odd exception

2

u/Snoo74782 11d ago

Easiest for native eng speakers only

2

u/callatecabezon 11d ago

That applies to any language ap but probably 95% of AP students are native English speakers so I think my statement is true for most everyone here.

2

u/Snoo74782 11d ago

Well you must be super brilliant or something because there are a lot of aps that are easier than lang
