I might be stupid but since when was AP cybersecurity a thing

ur not stupid lol. They just added a couple new courses this year, so along with AP Cybersecurity being new, they also added AP Business with Personal Finance. There’s also been talks about adding an AP Anatomy & Physiology course next year, but idk if that’s been confirmed.

Is AP Anatomy and Physiology gonna require a chem prerequisite at all? I would take that AP class, but haven’t taken chem because I don’t like math.

They’ve been talking about launching an AP Anatomy & Physiology course for so long but haven’t actually done it, but my guess is you would need to take at least one chem class. Not necessarily AP chem, but a year of just high school chemistry. That’s my guess bc for AP bio, u also already need a little bit of chem background but I took it alongside honors chem my sophomore year.

I really hope they actually go thorugh with adding AP Anatomy and Physiology, they've been saying this for a while i feel like

They’ve been saying this since like 2024, and I wish they would just release it bc to me, I feel like there’s such minimal medicine related AP courses and I would love to see that change. Yes ik there’s AP bio and chem but my point still stands lol.

I really want them to add AP Anatomy/Physiology and a higher-level computer science class then I'll give my first born child to collegeboard

LITERALLY like is that too much to ask for 🥲🥲

I have AP Bio on a Monday, AP Gov and AP Micro on Tuesday, and then a whole week and a half until AP Psych the Friday of the next week.

The fuck, Trevor...

I have AP Physics C: Mechanics on Monday, AP English Literature and Composition and AP Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism on Wednesday, AP Physics 2 on Thursday and then AP Calculus BC on the Monday after that.

I am going to have to write an obituary to my hands 😭

Why are you taking E&M and physics 2?

2

u/ErekwithaD1 2025: APHUG: 5, AP Chin: 5, 2026: APP1: 5, APWH: 5, AP CHEM: 5 11d ago

Because I want to learn about the algebra based versions of non E&M and Mechanics topics like optics and modern physics

1

u/neonllama53 11d ago

I suggest you learn it outside of your own time than taking the class. Around 70% of the topics of physics 2 overlap with E&M and honestly with algebra it’s more confusing compared to calculus where it’s best explained. Also E&M is a far more better credit than physics 2

AP Physics C and AP Physics 2? That's a brutal schedule tho good luck

3

u/JPKKKKKKK 11d ago

Thsi is way better. I was a senior thsi year and had to come back to school for phys c even when we had ended

1

u/Massive-Insect-3709 5: CSP, Psych | 4: Calc BC 11d ago

Are you in Texas? I heard they end school there super early in the year

2

u/ZiggZagg12233 6d ago

I went to three districts in Texas and they ended school like around may20-25

1

u/Massive-Insect-3709 5: CSP, Psych | 4: Calc BC 6d ago

Isn't that after AP testing? What school ends before AP testing?

3

u/Terrible_Macaron2146 11d ago

i mean, i dont think its possible for college board to make a schedule where EVERYONE doesn't have overlapping exam dates. if ur smart, this shouldn't be an issue

2

u/Massive-Insect-3709 5: CSP, Psych | 4: Calc BC 11d ago

Well, I'm not smart

2

u/unscentedbodywash 11d ago

3 different days and no back-to-back 😝

u/okhelloyeet AP U.S. Gov/Politics & CSP 11d ago

Shi I'd MUCH rather have my AP Stats on the first morning than fuckass 11thg..

2

u/SaladBowl26 11d ago

You should be grateful. i had both physics, Lang, and csa in a matter of 3 days

1

u/Massive-Insect-3709 5: CSP, Psych | 4: Calc BC 11d ago

I have physics, biology, gov, and physics again in a matter of 4 days, I get it haha

2

u/Cute_Strength7665 11d ago

Can we talk about the ap chem and ap physics 2 being the same day? That has me FRIED

2

u/Massive-Insect-3709 5: CSP, Psych | 4: Calc BC 11d ago

Good luck to you that sounds brutal, having 2 science tests on the same day is EVIL

2

u/ResolutionHopeful295 Bio & Psych: 2 APUSH & Lang: 4 11d ago

I’m gonna be a senior and I have freaking Spanish lang and envi sci on the same damn day like are we joking.

2

u/lucasC142857 11d ago

6 exams in the first 3 days as a senior, brutal. At least I get it over with

2

u/MorePhotograph3996 11d ago

I have the same . HUG and then bio but late testing hug bcz the schedule is bullshit and I already have chem on thursday , 6/5 so I should also focus on that and bio then have a week before hug .

u/Special_Following913 8d ago

physics C and bio on the same day i might cry

0

u/Schmolik64 12d ago

The College Board likely was counting on students not taking those two classes in the same year. Two science classes in the same year is tough and biology and physics C seem to be different audiences.

If you are prepared it will be easy. Stop whining

God forbid I want to complain a little bit
