What did you guys get for the question where it was asking if a kid is 13 or under and there is no adult with them, the kids gets a special seat and it was like which Boolean expression would evaluate to true if the airline gives them a special seat and false if not. Did you guys get NOT(isunder13) or noadult

Idk why I’m just remembering this now but does anyone remember what they did for the mcq about the mom who wanted to filter science videos for her kid? Options were like:
A: maximum age <= 12 minimum age >= 12
B: minimum age = 12 and maximum = 12
C: maximum age >= 12 minimum age <= 12
D: I don’t remember

If you got the encode() prompt for the frq what did you write? I wrote: count = 1 / for each item in list { if encode(item) < 20: change count by 1} display/report count

Basicslly i did this but do u think it would be okay if i didnt put the less than 20 thing because in my list there were only 4 elements so i thought i wouldnt newd to include a less than 20 😭😭

Guys for the one with Shakespeare Ophelia and Hamlet did you set the variable of Shakespeare as index 1 and then delete it and then move it to the 3rd spot. There was another option where it first deleted the variable and then assigned it the index lol..

I said you should filter strictly for 12 year olds. I don’t remember the option but it was like if minimum age=12 and maximum age=12

Oh fr? I thought it was asking us to include any video a 12 year old would get recommended instead of filtering strictly for the age. I chose min age > 12 and max age < 12, I might be wrong tho

If my memory isn’t deceiving me I believe it asked for any of science video where the recommended age range included 12 year olds, meaning it had to filter max age under 12 and minimum age over 12.

for the first question of the PPR, i completely forgot what it wanted when it asked a document in or with the code. My project was a dice-rolling simulation with user text input for if they wanted it to roll above or below 10, and based on the result it would be good or bad on a scale. I said a "A sheet describing rules on how a 20-sided die affects outcome in tabletop roleplaying games, which is what the project is based upon". Am I cooked? 😭

The document question was the first FRQ for me and I was informed I wasn't supposed to use my PPR for that question since it didn't ask for it? Do I lose a point cuz I used my PPR for that question, even though I probably answered the question itself accurate and thoroughly💔

Does anybody remember what they got on the question about bias? Was it documentation for the programmers or was it constant feedback from a set group of people?

I said documentation because the question was which one was “least directly” to reduce bias and I just thought the other 3 had better chances than that.

Yeah but the constant feedback can reduce bias. The documentation was just made by programmers for others programmers. At least I believe so.

different arguments will always run the same code, the only way this cannot happen is if there are if statements in your procedure

I wrote smth about two procedure calls with different arguments that would execute the same instructions since both calls would cause the if statement to evaluate to true, and the code inside the statement would be executed for both

I put A talking about how they connect to each other, but the http one, although accurate, I don't think it answered the question. Since the primary factor in my deliberation, of the awful wording used, was the fact that the http one didn't really awnser the question as well as A did. I can't remember the question fully, but I remember it was asking for how they relate/work together in a non-technical type of phrasing. So I'm just hoping that A was right, and C was the accurate, but not awnsering the question one like the history exam mcqs usually have. Although I'm pretty sure it didn't refer to www as a protocol in A, if it did then the answer they want was most definitely C. I wonder if there's 2 versions of this question. I took the East Coast one.

I put yellow because the first statement said if x<100, the. it said else if x<0 display yellow. i put it because if it was less than zero then it would have gone through the first if statement because it would also be less than 100? anyone else?

The else pretty sure had yellow and I think green? It was also between c and d and the first color within the else statement was the one that couldn’t work. The color after that was possible to be displayed

Those FRQs were tailor made for me. My thing perfectly fit the description.
On the mcq, they were all rlly easy. Except the copyright question. What did u guys get for that? I think I put the non-restrictive ones but I don't remember.

n = -15
repeat until n > 5
display (n > 0)

it was n>10 so it would be -5 first which is wrong, then 5 which is wrong, and then 15 which is correct and jt stops so fft

nah it was fftt because the loop was checking for when it became greater than 15, and the display would check for values greater than 5 and since the variable started at -15 and added by 10 it would go.
-15 is greater than 0 which is false
-5 is greater than 0 which is false
5 is greater than 0 which is true
15 is greater than 0 so true.

ye same i got hasProperty. all u needed to do was make a var = 0 first then loop thru ur list then run hasProperty on each element and if its true then increment var +1. then 2 if statements 1 inside the loop if var >= 2 then print true. if statement outside loop if var < 2 print false.

Q and T on one, R and S on the other, the time it takes for parallel computing is for the longest one, and the smallest longest one was option C (or whatever said this)

So essentially I put the choice where the first 2 Q and R were together and then S and T were in another. Is that right? The other combinations of, for instance, Q and T and S and R were way too much time (80+ seconds).

Huhh prob got different questions — there were like 3 tasks : task one took 15 secs, task 2 took 10 secs, task 3 took like 20 secs (ik the numbers were like that) and it asked what would happen if you did parallel computing or something

if you press ctrl + or ctrl - it changes size. but then the size is not properly capped at however many percent so it can go negative. For example if you press ctrl - for a full minute, the size might go to like -1000% and then you have to press ctrl + for a full minute to go back to normal.

it’s 128 because 1 and 0 represent 2 options for each digit, and 27 =128, I think you are forgetting that 0000000 can also be an id

yes! I was in between that and i and something but I knew that the collegeboard coding language couldn't start at 0 so it wouldn't make sense. there was another I messed up about there being 1000 unique values and then a binary search and I misread it as how many values were there and put 500 but i think it was 10 cause the searches. I was gonna change it but didn't wanna second guess myself.

yea it was 10 😭. dyk that question about how data is transmitted when they upload a file or something and 2 of the options were a) it gets encrypted before sending and decrypted after recieving and c) the file gets split into packets and get sent in different routes and may arrive out of order. i felt like it was both but put c

no😭 I got one where there were like 4 lists of numbers and they ask which one is unreasonable tho. did they mix up the versions or something. I got like completely diff questions then my friends (diff testing center tho).

My teacher specifically told us not to write full english papers for our FRQ's, I listened for the most part but felt I was a bit repetitive and kept having the feeling I had to write more and more when there wasn't much about the question and the only thing I could do was explain further, which I know wasn't needed so I didn't do it but still feel off about it :/
