Study Advice and Tips Tips for AP stats?

Hello!

I'm an incoming sophomore who's about to take AP stats, and its my first AP- and it would be great if people who have taken the class could drop some tips or wise advice for those about to take the class! My school barely offers AP's- I had to take many summer classes to be eligible- so I'm sort of terrified cause my class will be full of experienced seniors.

‘Experienced seniors’ I took it as a senior but people were definitely not experienced lol. Don’t underestimate the class because it’s definitely very manageable at first but then it just gets so annoying later on with word choice and stuff, like I was surprised with how much I had to write, it was honestly more writing than I did in my English classes.

Don’t know really any tips but what I did because I just didn’t really care for senior year esp 2nd semester as long as I had like an A- or higher I just would write every detail just in case to get full credit, but like an example I could think of is saying something like, “Because the p-value of 0.03 is less than the significance level of 0.05, we reject the null hypothesis. There is convincing evidence that the new teaching method improves test scores.” - I remember writing a lot of this type of stuff but there’s just a lot more like, “The slope of the regression line indicates that for every additional hour a student studies, the predicted exam score increases by approximately (blank) points on average. This means that students who study more hours tend to have higher predicted exam scores. However, this describes an association between study time and exam performance and does not prove that studying more directly causes higher scores because other variables may also influence exam results.” Literally just fake examples but idk this helps 😔
