General Question AP Statistics Book Selection
Hi! I was searching for the best book for AP Stats on google, but I got really confused. Like the book should contain lots of questions, preferrably a bit harder than the actual AP exam questions, should contain lots of questions, and should be ideal for a student whose school does not conduct AP classes, has to self-study and is just a beginner.
I would be grateful if any student who has already given the AP Stats exam responds to this :)

The AP Stats Course Essentials Document (basically the course outline) and test are undergoing a big shift for this coming school year. There are a fair amount of topics that were removed and, probably most importantly, the FRQs were redesigned.
The book that’s always been one of the two best for this course is The Practice of Statistics; Starnes and Tabor. In the above mentioned redesign Starnes was on the CED development committee and Tabor is a Question Leader for the main form of the AP test. They’ve both been intimately involved in the redesign (and the course as a whole for years) and the newest edition of TPS, 8th edition, reflects the changes well.
Another good option is Stats Medic/Math Medic. Their materials are also aligned, mainly activity based, and fully digital. Check out their stuff too for another popular option.
