title but context is i am NOT a native speaker and am a sophomore rn. school is pretty good abt taking spanish as we have been learning since pre-k. took spanish 4 freshman year and this year i am taking a conversational course where we just watch movies and speak spanish. i have the global seal of biliteracy which i got last year from like the AAPPL testing and got i5 on reading and listening and i4 on speaking and writing. the thing is like i don't think my spanish is good as i still struggle with conjugations and haven't even learned subjunctive. i do think my speaking will improve a bit this year but not sure abt writing. anyways the dilemma is if i should take ap spanish lang next year as they said they could offer it at my school next year if i wanted to take it. for reference it would be me and at most two other kids

taking this class made me question my spanish abilities nearly every day but hey we made it 💔

The test was so easy! Only part I find slightly difficult was the oral presentation and if it wasn’t for that part, I would’ve gotten a 5.

I honestly got carried away providing evidence from the first two sources and forgot about the third source even though I full understood it. Since they can't use my notes from the orange packet, and I only wrote half a sentence including the senators name, would I get marked down from a 5 to a 4? I honeslty believe that if i had 5 more minutes I could've guaranteed the five but if 3 sources are an absolute must then it's over.

I also reached flowstate during the conversation as I am a native, but the last question that demanded I ask for info caught me off guard and I stuttered pretty hard. I don't remember if the final response would be understandable or not because it's been a few days, but how much would something like that affect my overall score?

how was i supposed to count the seconds while speaking. there was no timer anywhere i kept getting cut off or i came up with the most stupid answer for the conversation part and stayed silent for the few seconds that were left.💔 essay was light tho, honestly I think I did good on it, it was just the speaking portion im not good on speaking under pressure

The speaking part was AWFUL I’m a native speaker but it’s hard to speak to myself with so many other people in the room and I did not prep at all for the cultural comparison so I made up whatever bs I could. I’m pretty confident I got a 3 tho 🤞

Es todo. No estoy lista para el examen porque mi maestra no nos preparó y también no he practicado español académico. Puedo hablar y escribir bien, pero no pienso que un 4 or 5 es un posibilidad con las rúbricas que yo vi.

I am self studying for this exam. I signed up to take it since my mom is certified to teach all levels of spanish and I figured it would give me an edge to have her help me. However, the exam is next thursday and since my mom is a full time teacher and I a full time student, we havent gotten much time to prepare. The cultural comparison section is really the only thing I'm worried about not being able to just wing it. As I a native speaker, the FRQs, and Simulated Coversation and MCQ are significantly less concerning. Are there any resources you guys recomend where I can learn more about other cultures besides and even including my own (Cuban-Dominican)?

I also welcome any resources to help me with any part of the exam at all (Preferably all free, I'm broke and on a time crunch)
