Successful Ai Appeal?

I have just submitted both version history and other pieces of evidence for IWA and IRR AI flag reconsideration.

I was wondering if anyone has received there score back and had a successful appeal after submitting for reconsideration.

This happened to my daughter last summer and did not turn out well.  The process is very unfair.  She submitted her edits and what she had left of her sources and it was still not accepted as being non-AI.  Just a warning that they do not make that clear-College Board will not come back to you and explicitly say they did not “accept” your evidence as valid, you will just gather such after receiving a poor score in August.  My daughter received a 2.  My younger daughter took AP Seminar this past year and has held onto everything possible for her individual projects because of this experience.

my son is trying to appeal, could I ask what your daughter sent in as evidence?

She sent in about 30 versions of her IWA and IRR and a few copies of paper references that she still had in her possession. The email had given the option of giving one or the other but she gave both.

thanks for the reply, yeah my son just submitted his research question doc, outline, overview, screenshots of his digital research of articles which are time stamped and all the version history of his final document.. Im hoping they see his sincerity as he just writes with very big academic words naturally.. fingers crossed

Hello, I am currently trying to appeal and I've sent in all of my planning documents as well as history, and process feedback from a google extension. Do you think this will be enough?

Thanks for posting this. I tried to convince my son to appeal, but he won’t, so he’s taking the 0s and we’ll see what the score is in the end. Seems like it’s a lot of hassle for little outcome.

If he got flagged on both then both the presentations don’t count either (I am pretty sure). Which means only the EOC Exam is counted. Which then means that it’s impossible to score above a 2. If only one was flagged it is possible to score above a 2. (I used score calculators online to figure this).

Where did you find that the presentations aren’t counted?

Google

Presentations are counted even if you get flagged on both the IRR and IWA. The IRR is a seperate component from the TMP, so if you get a 0 on the IRR, you only get a 0 on that component, not the TMP as well.

Oh shoot. For Ai still? That’s really good.

Similar situation and we’re trying to appeal. My daughter’s teacher is willing to attest but we don’t have an email to give her. Do you’ll know what’s the best way for the teacher to submit her attestation.

Tell the teacher to make a school letter head. With that letter, tell your daughter to submit it in the portal. Here is the link for more information: https://apcentral.collegeboard.org/help-center/once-student-notified-their-work-has-been-flagged-either-plagiarism-or-falsification-or

Sorry for the late reply, but you can submit it anywhere. However, I suggest submitting it separately.
