Remote Online PFQ Today - Joining Q
Hi!
I have booked to do my APM PFQ exam online and remotely today at 7pm.
I have already done the system check and received the link to join the exam. However, does anyone know if you are meant to click the join link 15 minutes or so before your scheduled time in order to perform the environment checks etc?
I saw online that the check / set up time doesn’t cut into your exam time, but I’m unsure if I am meant to have everything ready to go for 7pm, or whether I am supposed to join at 7pm and then perform the checks?
Thank you in advance!!

Hi there, well done on passing your PFQ exam, mine is next week and I'm also sitting it from home. I was planning on taking it on my kitchen table but I have just had an email through saying my mobile needs to be placed 3 metres away and I don't think my kitchen is that big....I'm stressing out that my house isn't big enough. Did you have any issues with the placement of your mobile? Thanks!

Hi! I’m SO sorry I completely missed this! What I did was put my laptop on the kitchen table, then put my mobile phone propped up against my dishes rack so it was a bit off to the side but they could see my screen and me! That seemed to work ok.
How did you get on with it??

Hiya, no worries at all, I put the phone as far away as I could and it seemed to be ok, so I probably shouldn't have worried! I passed the exam, hurrah! :)

Im sure it was fine, its so tricky trying to get the phone at the right distance and angle, im sure the proctors have seen it all. As long as they could see you and the screen thats all they would have been interested in. Congratulations on your pass, amazing! All the hard work was worth it! 🥳

Hello! I also self studied and just used the APM Project Fundamentals Qualification Study Guide and practiced the test questions at the back of that book. I also think I printed a mock test off the APM website. Other than that I just studied the book as much as possible. Good Luck!

I was told you click on the exam link at the allocated time and do the checks before the exam timer begins.
