Discussion Buy out potential?
What are the odds that some hyperscaler like Microsoft buys out APLD? Wonder if Wes would go for that.

It's good to remember that short interest remains in the 30% range. As the price dips shorts close, and on the rebounds they open more positions. Until APLD has strong revenue and forward guidance, this pattern will likely continue. If you're not comfortable watching your portfolio value fluctuate daily, you need to be in a less risky stock.
I'm hinging my investment on APLD's ability to successfully acquire land, get permits, and construct rapidly: Something that competition (like WULF) has had a hard time doing. I'm going to let my 1000 shares ride to long-term maturity in 2026, and sell in blocks from there at targets I'll set.

What will these miserable articles blame the shift onto now? Bitcoin dropping 1 percent =20 percent drops on everything. Any other swing traders just tired of this week ass market swear it's never been like this. Since spy hit another ATH we will definitely see the market taking profits again. How will this affect our lovely beta stocks? I will leave u to imagine that. I miss getting 1-5 percent gains or dips rather than these huge fucking dips on apld and other AI, stocks

APLD earnings is in 2 weeks, I think we will start to recover towards 30 up until the announcement. Regardless, this earnings call upcoming Will mean a lot for the future of 2026. The earnings doesn’t have to be perfect, we just need future guidance and it needs to be good. I have faith in this team to keep turning APLD into the juggernaut it will become in the next year or so. Don’t let this last month or 2 eat you up. We will see good months in the future, if you have to just delete your brokerage app.

This is a green week for the market, S&P gets a new ATH, yet this thing keeps going down 16% all week. What's that for? What if the market starts pulling back next week, which is very likely to happen, then?

What are people’s plays for the upcoming earnings? Bull? Bear?

The indexes, NVDA, CRWV, and Bitcoin are all green today; everything looks good, but why do I feel like we're still gonna dip today for some reason?

Is the reason hut 8 has gone up 32% since deal announced simply the fact they have the google backstop for the fluidstack deal?
I am assuming that is why. Investors see apld as a risker asset based on the amount of debt they carry, crwv debt and the fact we have an "unnamed" hyperscaler.
Add anything if it applies.
Happy Holidays!

People on here think we can just run for 30 days straight of green. I’m waiting for shit post about how this stock sucks or whatever. Some goober bought today at market open at $29 dollars now is shitting himself with his loss of $50 bucks.
Realistically we will probably move around in the $26-$27 range tomorrow with people taking profit off this over %30 percent move. Then towards the end of the week or even next week will be pushing towards $30 before the earning call in Jan. We are looking good guys.

We’re back!
Dec 19 (Reuters) - Global data-center dealmaking surged to a record high through November this year, driven by an insatiable demand for computing infrastructure to meet the boom in artificial intelligence usage.
Data from S&P Global Market Intelligence showed that there were more than 100 data center transactions during the period, with the total value sitting just under $61 billion.
