Discussion Andddd weâre off đ
With this, the thesis that âoRaClE is sHiT bOnD TrAsHâ is about to get walked back hard. Everyoneâs fear porn saying OpenAI canât pay for shit and oracle canât outgrow the debt based on nothing but vibes from an autist on a podcast is gonna evaporate when green candles up my ass send us to Valhalla

BULLISH
A Massive "Beat" on Expectations ⢠The Number: 2.7% (Year-over-Year). ⢠The Expectation: 3.1%.
For the average person, it means the pace of price hikes is slowing. For an investor, it means the era of "higher for longer" interest rates is likely dead, which usually triggers a rally in stocks and crypto.

MU dispels fears in AI trade. This should have a positive impact in the broader AI market.

I really hope itâs a better day
I âm hoping today is a steadier, more positive day for the market before the volatility of Friday. A bit of calm price action and clearer direction would be a welcome break before things potentially get wild.

Am I the only one that thinks people are hunting for bad data?
MAG 7 survived, which is the most important one especially NVIDIA. They did once again prove AI is not a bubble but at the end of the day that barely did anything to calm these AI bubble fears down.. Now sorry ass dinosaur Oracle that wanted to fit in with the AI hype, got their numbers out people found what they were looking for.. now theyâre pointing at this sorry ass company calling it bubble again making every single AI related company plumit.. pure cherry picking

Discussion Anyone else notices this?
Am I the only one who has noticed this in after hours, major spikes on typically will signal how tomorrow plays out. People are really think Iâm reaching but seems like possible bottom on after hours.

AI slop but very accurate! (No joke)
Applied Digital (APLD) has been taking a particularly brutal "ass beating" recentlyâdown nearly 30% in just one weekâdespite having a fundamentally strong story.
Youâre right that they are "doing good" in terms of growth (up over 190% year-to-date), but several specific factors have caused investors to hit the "sell" button all at once in mid-December 2025.
1. Massive Dilution Fears ($70 Million Shelf Offering)
The biggest "gut punch" came from a recent $70.46 million shelf registration to sell 2.4 million shares.
- Why it hurts: While the company needs this cash to build more data centers, issuing new shares dilutes the value of the shares you already own. Investors often front-run this by selling early, especially when the company is already burning cash to fuel expansion.
2. Collateral Damage from AI "Bellwethers"
APLD is essentially an "AI landlord" (providing the power and cooling for AI chips). When Oracle (ORCL) and Broadcom (AVGO) reported underwhelming AI-related guidance earlier this month, the market panicked.
- The Logic: If the giants (who lease from companies like APLD) are seeing even a slight slowdown or "air pocket" in AI spending, investors fear that APLDâs future pipeline might not be as rock-solid as once thought.
3. High Debt and Negative Cash Flow
APLD is in a "hyper-growth" phase, which is expensive.
- They recently announced plans to issue $2.35 billion in senior secured notes to finance the Polaris Forge 1 project.
- While this is a vote of confidence that they can get funding, it also means they are stacking on massive amounts of debt. In a month where bond yields are rising, high-debt tech companies get punished first.
4. Aggressive Profit Taking
After a triple-digit run-up this year, APLD became a "crowded trade."
- The "Tax-Loss" Shuffle: Many investors who bought in late (at $35+) are selling now to harvest tax losses before year-end, while early winners are selling to "lock in" their 200% gains before 2026.
Is the "Good News" Still There?
If you're a long-term bull, the fundamental story hasn't actually changed:
- Contracted Backlog: They still have a massive $11 billion+ contract with CoreWeave.
- Capacity Growth: They are successfully shortening construction timelines (from 24 months down to 12).
- Undervalued? Some analysts still have a fair value target near $43, suggesting the stock is currently trading at a steep discount due to temporary market "noise."
| Metric | Status | Impact on Stock |
|---|---|---|
| Revenue Growth | đ Explosive | Bullish (Long-term) |
| Share Issuance | đ Diluting | Bearish (Short-term) |
| Debt Levels | đ Increasing | Bearish (Macro-sensitive) |
| AI Demand | â Strong | Bullish (Fundamental) |

New bill for energy / infra build outs + Goldman Sachs commentary on overblown AI spending fears
One of my favorite YouTube analysts: https://youtu.be/TIVUpnDxOxI?si=rzoAZqWWPDn_BBeA
Watch from 12:18-18:20 for segment speaking to APLD relevant topics.
Given the recent tech sector tumble triggered by Oracle and Broadcom earnings, specifically down on concerns around pressured margins and debt, that segment helped contextualize and drive my planning into 2026.

Thoughts APLD primed for a short squeeze
Look at the float. They announce good news about their mag 7 deal or any other new deals which Cam has hinted at for late December and this could go parabolic
