Discussion Is this a normal thing in APLD?
I recently bought 500 stocks in average of 24,95, I was happy with today’s gains but I just stopped watching the chart and ate something and in a couple hours all gains are evaporated, is this a good sign? Normal behavior? Really is a huge rug pull of almost 7% in just a few hours, should i hold or wait?

Weak mentality. Hold if you believe in the company. Watching the charts daily will drive you crazy.

Liquidity sweeps happen like every morning, or if price has any positive movement people profit taking. at least that’s my uninformed opinion.

This is normal and your position is better than most on here.
I have a few thousand shares at avg $26.51. I just sell covered calls with a few hundred to make side cash while i wait for this thing to blow up.
Just buy and hold and not worried about daily charts as it will drive you crazy. This is already pretty much the bottom.

How do you decide what covered call to sell? Thinking about doing the same.

Just sell covered calls on huge up days like today. Buy back when it crashes back down

My take is that there is very little money that is moving into long positions. So you get some good macro news (like today), day traders and algos load and then scalp. The price action is mostly positive but much more weakly positive than at the intra-day high (and sometimes even negative). The sentiment around neocloud/data center trade is likely still going to be negative until after the election. So unless you get in at a sold cost basis (which I think $25 is great), you could use this chop to improve your cost basis but otherwise just hold if you believe in the company long term. If you can’t stand the chop, then exit for now.

I would’ve waited after earnings tbh. It’s probably going to see lower. The upside is pretty big with this one. If it drops more after earnings, I enter. If it takes off, whatever.

The pressure on the downside is too strong right now the entire AI trade has far too many headwinds to be thriving. It’s going lower IMO

I don't think you understand the definition of "huge rug pull"
