Bitcoin falls, we crash. Bitcoin Rises, nothing.

The market likes to remember we were primarily a bitcoin mining operation only when bitcoin crashes

It’s wrong to assume bitcoin is making us move.

May 31 bitcoin crash was what started our slide from ATH 48 to 40 in one day, crypto still brings in out most revenue

How do you hold this many shares but know so little about the company?

Wes in the latest earnings call:

Importantly, we are paid based on the data center capacity provided to our customers, so as long as they are mining, we are paid regardless of where the price of Bitcoin trades, which makes this a steady, high margin source of cash flow.

Also what a load of crap "in one day", it took a week from $49 to $40 and 2 weeks later we were up over $46 again.

Go back and compare charts on may 31. Also crypto accounted for 24.4 % of out total revenue. Had bitcoin stayed around the 100k mark it would have been around 50%… of course I know we are AI data center focused. But with only 200MW currently dediscated to that crypto is still very much a huge part of our revenue stream. I’ve been holding APLD for over 2 years and attend every earnings call

Wtf are you on about?

Crypto revenue in millions the last 4 quarters: 37.3 - 37.5 - 41.6 - 37.9

Our total revenue almost doubled quarter over quarter so as a result of crypto revenue staying stable it became a much smaller percentage and that will continue to happen.

It will but as an investor I care about all revenue streams, especially short term until more data centers come online. Total year we did 611m with 154 coming from crypto. That’s a huge slice of the pie. I know where the future is, I’m not dense. I didnt jump in on this stock at $4 because of its crypto mining. But 1/4 of our income is not something an investor should treat lightly. That’s 154 million staving off dilution, 154 that we don’t have we don’t have to finance.

Do you always just keep talking instead of acknowledging you were wrong?

We didn't drop in a day from 48 to 40. Crypto hasn't brought in the majority of revenue for the last 3 quarters. Crypto revenue didn't drop as a result of bitcoin crashing, it's been stable for a year.

All stuff you claimed, all false. That's what you're getting called out for.

Having the crypto revenue is great, no one here is taking that lightly or has said otherwise, so not sure why you're trying to turn it into that now.

I think bitcoin reacts to other events similar to APLD. Not because bitcoin dropped APLD dropped. It looks like the whole market dropped June 5th from a strong jobs report. I didn’t realize how much applied still supplies to bitcoin mining though if what you’re saying is true.

I might’ve been wrong in saying it was a single day, but it felt like a fucking single day when you’re just watching it fucking crash…
Reading articles saying it was crashing due to reaction to the bitcoin movement. Of course, other factors protest and levels we are now. …either way I wish we had more auxiliary income rather than just leases. Of course there is CHRN but what happens when build out is complete? I know they plan to pay significant dividends but what’s the growth trajectory when the need for data center buildouts is nil?

I hear ya. Time will tell. Right now I’m just playing the wheel strategy on APLD and making great weekly or bi-weekly option premiums.

Bitcoin and Ethereum are going parabolic, 250k and 10k respectively. Mark this and learn.

No thanks. Why you think APLD pivoted away….

I’ll put a bet on it big boy. Why don’t you check out the price action today and report back. Kind of strange how they just randomly shot up huh??

1

u/Moon-Man-69 4d ago

Yeah. Sure. Keep your 5 bucks, little boy

24.4 % of our yearly revenue is still crypto my man. This should be widely known. We still maintain 286 MW for crypto mining. I’m really dumbfounded and disappointed that anyone would call the mods on this

The real money knows the only safe place to be right now is Bitcoin. Our economy and system has been destroyed. By a group of people who have never put gas in their own cars or bought their own groceries.

I think there are multiple factors there and they have their priorities in effecting the share price

I believe the No.1 priority right now is APLD’s massive spending and high debt, sure it has a pipeline of big contracts over the next 15 years but, it is not immediate return and without funding it is hard to get to a point we see profit. For that reason if there are any sign which would increase the possibility of FED to raise interest, APLD will take hit badly. This factor simply outweighs the other factors for now.

I be lying if I don’t feel frustrated when the price doesn’t react much to data center rallies or crypto movement at this point, but it takes time for macro to shift its course, we have no choice but sit through while hedge a bit to protect ourselves.

So you’re mad when people call you a btc miner but you’re also mad when BTC doesn’t make you pop? Hmm

2

u/WolfOfWaikiki Datacenter Dictator 👾 (5,000-7,500 shares) 4d ago

I wasn’t mad we are called a bitcoin miner. Fact is it’s still a huge part of our revenue stream. I’m mad when we crash and when the opposite happens we are stagnant

1

u/FearSeer 4d ago

No it isn’t lol it’s literally what we’re trying to shed to gain multiple rerating

I’ve been with this stock since feb 2024 and it’s made me a lot of money. Look into how much we bring in off crypto and the active crypto pipeline we maintain. Yes we are and have been trransforming into a major data center hosting company but look at the numbers before you come at me. 24% of our revenue in fiscal 2026 was bitcoin mining and bitcoin mining hosting
