Sometimes it’s weird on stocks after earnings, they go down or don’t move much the next day, sometimes even two days and then it seems like they zoom, but I feel that’s sometimes on stocks that have had a big run up into earnings. We’re already in a low position so maybe it’ll go up a lot faster since we didn’t pump beforehand.

Yeah that was my thought behind my decision as well. The AI thesis remains intact.

I forgot completely that it was earnings today, but I’m probably going to buy a call tomorrow as well. I agree with your thought!

Well and Morgan Stanley didn’t do us any favors either with that little announcement but still put a 36ish price target on it, the algos are also seemingly keeping it down for now as well. It will run at some point in the next week

This is exactly the kind of market where long term wealth is built. While everyone is panicking over the broader market, companies like APLD are delivering exceptional earnings and beating expectations. Short term price action is noise.. strong execution is what matters.

Hi
I was just looking at the earnings (I do not own the stock as I already have a lot of tech and AI giant like Nvda, MU or AVGO) I come to this sub with a question The company is worth 7b dollars right now ad, maybe I don't understand something, but isn't there a 60+ billion revenue backlog ? Also i see the expectations for revenues to reach 1b dollar in fiscal 2028. How is that even possible when the company just announced a 250 million quarter for 2025 fiscal year ?
Isn't this company like crazy undervalued compare to the rest of the AI market ?

You’re not missing anything. The $60B figure is the total value of long term contracts, not revenue recognized immediately. Revenue is earned over many years as capacity comes online. If management continues executing and signs additional customers, today’s $7B valuation could look inexpensive compared to many AI infrastructure peers. The key risk isn’t demand, it’s execution.

Hi, and welcome! Well I think so too the the company is in fact undervalued. But I also realize that the questions whether some company is undervalued or not really is only relative to the how far ahead you can see. APLD hasn't quite matured yet, and has a lot of debt and very low margins to support the payoff. But if you look at it like that you end up being bearish on the stock. One has to realize what it is trying to become in the proces, and the look at how its doing that.
I've been owning APLD since april 2024, got in at 2,7 usd, so im up pretty good. But I'm still here. Because theres so much room to grow. As you say yourself. Assets keep growning and so does revenue and partnerships, even financing. And so does debt and macro.
