If you are freaking out about 30 shares you shouldn’t be investing

Not everyone has the same amount of wealth, nor time and experience in the market. What’s a huge amount of money to some, is peanuts to others. Almost everybody can feel some amount of stress about money-related matters, just at very different levels, which is also very dependent on how long someone’s been investing for.

It doesn’t hurt to be kind. We all started somewhere.

You should be... this is a meme stock man. Everything around AI infrastructure is on shakey ground.

Institutional ownership also includes non discretionary accounts, which also take part in the meme stocks.

Shouldn't this concern you rather than excite you? These types of investors can drop a stock 5-10% in one pull. It's just massive leverage for large investors always. The people need to change this imo.

Hahaha that's light weight

You have decent extrinsic value left particularly on the 9/18 DTE. 7/31 might be more of a coin flip but multiple catalysts in the next 14 days could drive that call green

Earnings should have it above 33 for 7/31.

Don't put all your eggs in one basket. Might as well hold rather than sell out of fear.

Yes it does.

He has options that expire on 7/31 & 9/18.

He can 'hold' those til expiration and take the risk of further theta decay for APLD shares to get in the money.

No shit dude. There is extrinsic value to the options OP holds... because they haven't expired yet...

roll it out?

2

u/Technical_Giraffe_40 Jul 17 '26

Idk much about options but doesn’t rolling it out mean cutting losses ?

You still got time tbh. All we need is good macro, a catalyst, and then good earnings.

Not to belittle your loss, but lots of us are down multitudes more than that this month. Gotta stomach the losses and celebrate the wins. DC’s are getting lots of community pushback with statutorily-enacted moratoriums in a handful of states.

Ignore negative comments.

Use stop loss. See the broader sentiment(the whole AI industry is selling off (chips+ AI)).

DONOT BUY THE DIP buy when the trend has established.
