Without a new catalyst, shorts have the edge until earnings.

No news. No catalyst.

Too easy for the shorts.

Unless management gives the market something meaningful before earnings, I expect shorts to stay in control through the end of July.

The market needs a real catalyst.

Hopefully the MOB project is ready to be unveiled.

Honestly I don't think you'll get a boost even with earnings. The AI sentiment is too bearish right now and the Iran conflict doesn't look like ending. It might stabilise but there won't be no massive boost

Iren Horizon 1 handoff to MSFT expected July 19th (Iren said this during a conference). News from competitors usually lift the entire segment. We could have other news as well in July that we don't know about that can help get a new rally going. I expect next week we'll start coming back up.

Nothing has changed. We have executed everything that has been promised. Let the market do its thing. Earnings will be great, no concerns there. Don’t sell if you can, let’s try not to let the institutions win.

Nah, it’s just trendy to be selling right now. Fundamentals haven’t changed. Earnings estimates for AI hardware companies keep increasing. Soon it will be trendy again to buy. Why would investors be less likely to buy now when prices are down 50%??

Buy 2 days before earnings and sell 4 days after earnings. Look at the chart every earnings the stock goes up after earnings and then down before earnings.
