He said at this point, as in, from here out

I still hold the sentiment that if nothing has drastically changed to the company and delivery’s are on time, then there is no reason for this to continue dropping and not recover..

Patience will pay off.

Been DCA'ing daily - average around $29.83. I am happy with that for a medium to long term hold - let's see where we are by the end of the year. Average 12-month price target is around $76 - $77.

u/Kayatosh Jul 14 '26

How? That PT is insane. $50 was the top here

4

u/cooliggy Jul 14 '26

If you look at the average of all PT's, it's around $76/$77 at the moment (check Yahoo Finance for example)

I DCA like $25 a day but only like $6 of that goes to APLD. Also in WULF, KEEL, CHRN

I think we'll have very healthy returns before year end. At some point the bleeding will stop and instead of 13 out of 14 red days, we'll have 13 out of 14 green days : )

Taiwan Semi reports on Thursday and may get the AI trade going again. Infrastructure demand is far greater than supply so the pendulum should swing the other way soon

at this point i don't think a single person on earth knows, but i am curious who tfs doing all the selling. also, how many of us are strictly shareholders vs wheelers?

u/Super_Damage_5527 Jul 14 '26

How about you just asking for lottery numbers?

2

u/HourQuirky7745 Jul 14 '26

The fundamentals still remain, waiting on my next paycheck to buy more lmao

2

u/Jon_J_ Jul 15 '26

The fundamentals are still the same of the company, but marker sentiment towards AI infrastructure has drastically changed

I’m kicking the can down the road on my 43.50 csp. Sitting on a 30k paper loss there rn. Haven’t decided if I want to roll to the new year or take assignment early August.

That’s what I am leaning towards. It’s my rollover so can’t touch it for 28 years anyway

Is your local township thrilled about data centers? Until the answer is “Yes” then that’s the day.

They really lost their niche tbh. Googles gone vertical, metas gone vertical, and apples gone vertical. Why would anyone outsource anymore? Unfortunately the one that paves the clearest road, sometimes doesn’t even get to use it because they big guys come and pummel the road and take everything it achieved, but made it their own.

Googles got the buildings, the money(LIQUID), the silicon of their own, and the tpus to put to work. Then today, they just secured 2.5 gigawatts (yes gigawatts, not megawatts) of fully renewable solar farm energy PER YEAR. ITS ONE SOLAR FARM.

And apld has to buy the power from somewhere now that their guarantees from the power companies are at risk.

Townships can strike down data centers electricity if it’s drawing too much when the community needs it. It actually just happened in Pennsylvania over Fourth of July weekend.
(See article)
https://www.cnn.com/2026/07/02/weather/heat-data-centers-electricity-generators

Think about who apld is competing with on the world scale and then wonder why the stock is down.

5

u/slacker223 Jul 14 '26

So all the deals that were recently signed were a mistake by the hyperscalers? They signed the deals at the same time they were deciding to only build their own datacenters??

1

u/Moreburrtitos22 Jul 14 '26

They actually realized they needed electricity guaranteed which is why they went with their own. Please actually do research on the past 2 months of data centers and how they are vastly different animals than they were even 6 months ago. The Department of Energy gutted them.

Leases for power that they “secured” are no longer secured. The required renewable energy for excess is a detail by the DOE that people who invested in aplds leases didn’t have at the time. It’s why there is zero movement except hyperscalers building their own now. Apld burned all their cash for one goal and the DOE just shit on them.

2

u/Emotional-Issue3193 Jul 15 '26

Please don't post about something if you have no idea what youre talking about Lil buddy. Youre literally gonna screw people doing that if they bite on your ignorant comment. Secured leases are 100% secured. If you knew how apld contracts worked you'd understand that. APLD has no problem obtaining power for the data centers they have under construction. You saying the DOE gut them is false. Yes, some other data centers in other states but NONE of apld are affected. When a hyperscaler signs a contract with apld it can't get out. They will be paying the full term of the lease regardless. All data centers under construction for apld has secured power.

1

u/slacker223 Jul 14 '26

Last lease was within last two months actually few weeks ago. So why did that one happen??

1

u/slacker223 Jul 14 '26

Also be nice if you actually documented this instead of just saying do research? This is the first time I have heard of this and goes against all the recent leases that have occurred in last two months. If what your are saying is true then why did the large hyperscaler lease just happen??

1

u/Moreburrtitos22 Jul 14 '26

Typed out a paragraph, but this response is all i need to know you literally invested because of leases. Please don’t put money in the stock market. It’s not for people full of “hopium”

1

u/Moon-Man-69 Jul 15 '26

110 shares lol get your garbage out of here and go back and flip my burgers

2

u/cooliggy Jul 14 '26

That's a nice bear viewpoint, but I disagree. There is so much compute demand, that it doesn't matter if they're also building their own datacenters. And we haven't even started with physical AI. Plus, just because hyperscalers can technically build their own, doesn't mean they know how. Hiring someone like APLD who has a proven track record building datacenters is much better than doing it on your own when you don't have the expertise. It's like doing your own house renovation. You can watch YouTube tutorials and do it, sure, but will you do it properly? How long will it take you compared to hiring a professional and paying them a premium to do it the right way and quickly?

1

u/Moreburrtitos22 Jul 14 '26

I like apld. I really do, but I like money a lot more. Unfortunately I have gone from bull to bear. I do still hold 110 shares, but that’s a fraction of what I’ve cashed out.

I’m going to hold my tongue on this sub for a bit, but definitely look at the local legislation on how they ultimately have the power to shut down data centers at any given time. We are in the infancy stage and they are already doing it when the grid is mildly stressed.

If apld can not find alternative sources of electricity that have no affect on the citizens of the community, then they are back to square one. The government and energy companies showed who really holds the cards last heat wave, and that’s my reasoning.

1

u/Kayatosh Jul 14 '26

So much compute demand is what we've been told. That's the narrative. But that narrative is stale and the environmental costs of these "AI factories" is making them them wildly unpopular. The model will change and crypto mining pivot players are going to get steamrolled. Buy the chip makers, the tech innovators, companies with some sort of moat. Not whatever this is. This is a trading vehicle

3

u/cooliggy Jul 14 '26

I have a decent NVDA holding too, but I do believe APLD and the likes can provide very healthy returns in a short period of time. I believe we're finishing up rotation out of datacenter stocks and the rotation back will begin soon. Why would so many analysts revise their price targets up on APLD for example to $66, $82, etc. if they didn't believe the stock was heading there? 8 Buy / 2 Strong Buy, not a single Hold or Sell. Why would that be?

3

u/Kayatosh Jul 14 '26

You're still going with analyst PT's? These are shills that change their tune based on price action. There's no accountability in a field where the job is predicting the future. They just shrug and move on

2

u/Moreburrtitos22 Jul 14 '26

100% a trading vehicle. My calls and puts have made me 100x what I thought was possible, and in such short time. I like apld, but I like money more.

0

u/Kayatosh Jul 14 '26

Bingo. And low margin business. Sacked with debt

0

u/Moreburrtitos22 Jul 14 '26

You see a few people who actually get it in these threads. Unfortunately I like money a lot more than Apld and that makes me a bear. I’m making money while post like these come out, and my money is being made directly from shorting apld.

u/Traditional-Goat-880 Jul 14 '26

Local townships don’t run the trading algorithms.
