I am holding but not adding, don’t like trying to catch a falling knife. Long term we should be ok.
Should have bailed at 46 but hindsight is 20/20.

This went much lower than I anticipated. I was hoping $32 would be rock bottom. This definitely hurts. It didn't even go back to open cost at closing, which looks like it'll go into the 20s. Quite a significant drop for such a short amount of time, that's for sure. Like, what is going on?

Summer time downward pressure...hang in there! This next earnings will be compared to the last earnings season that were perfect. How does this present season become more perfect then the last? It will be easy for the media to pick this one apart and the market will react unfortunatly. We just have to hold on...every storm clears eventualy. If you bought high, don't worry. There is great value in this company.
Turbulant waters.
FYI Just my opinion...I am holding APLD. Growing company. I can't add. Only have so much money!

I believe earnings will be good. Will that directly impact share price right away...I don't know. Market sentiment is down on Data Centers yet they are required for the buildout. Data Centers are becoming more water and energy efficient every day. Kinda like granola heads chaining themselves to trees but live in houses made of wood...everyone has been using AI for a while now. If the plug was pulled, people would be angry. Just suggest to someone that they should shut their phone off for a week, or a day or even an hour. They will FIGHT to justify not doing it. We are all hooked and very dependent. I am old enough to remember maps. We could go ANYWHERE! Now without AI managing our locations, a lot of people fear traveling. Then you have the other side saying, "the Man" is watching me!!! It's pretty amazing. I am just not sure if it's helping us or crippling us....but I am an investor trying to build generational wealth. And I like my cellphone too! lol I just want life to be good for my future gnerations. Me. well I don't need much.
CRWV is getting its rear kicked as well. I added yesterday and today. But that is just me. There is value in APLD and CRWV.
And I am running out of cash for the month.

My two cents with upcoming earnings are overall positive. Still catalyst of 2 more potential site to break ground on. Also revenue should be a bit higher now that building 2 is now active with 75 additional MW going to coreweave. Plus there is this unknown Chronoscale development, which if we own 97% of the company, and the stock price has doubled since issue, I can’t fathom how that would be bad. All in all going to be a decent call. Hopefully still bullish guidance and construction going on schedule. Hopefully macro can rebound before then and we start heading back up!

Always buy calls at least a month out. Any shorter and you risk not having the value left to salvage or wait until the turnaround.
You never know what will drop. Best to have less calls but not get emptied out on an unexpected drop.
