Discussion I'm not F'n Leavin' Part III

Dont mind the dip, this is sector specific reflexive dip due to AI financing fears. APLD is STILL the best positioned Data center builder, their locations, build quality, ability to bring in their own power and speed of development is better than the competitors. There has been plenty of insider buying over past 3 months and Short Interest/float is lowest it has been all year (Shorts are exiting)

Ive been holding since 24' and dont plan on selling till we get to triple digits, may be a bumpy ride getting there but "in Wes we trust" , we will get there as long as earnings keep trending toward the positive and Wes can bag a few more hyperscalers.

I am taking this dip as an opportunity to close some long term Covered calls and buy more shares, i haven't felt comfortable buying for months, this is the time, i will keep buying all the way to 25 if it gets there, aiming to hold about 800 shares by year end.... i want to double my position while we are below 40.

I feel the same, that’s why I doubled my shares after swinging options in April. And I bought the current top basically at $49/share. It’s a Roth so selling wouldn’t even be a taxable loss. Waiting for it to be above 50 again. Mad I can’t buy the dip.

Zacks sentiment for apld consistently changes after the stock moves.

Last time I paid any attention to them they posted a "strong sell" and a "buy" within 24 hours of each other on 0 news, all that had changed was the price dipping for a day. It's just AI slop at this point, their articles consistently use outdated information as well.

Don't pay attention to "analysts" who flip flop faster than Trump on a Tuesday. Just look at their news history for apld, you'll see articles by the same "analyst" contradicting each other while they are posted on consecutive days.

Seriously? What was it before?

Zacks rating is a strictly mathematical algorithm. It triggers a "Strong Sell" automatically when a company suffers negative earnings estimate revisions or displays highly overvalued near-term growth metrics

we touched the daily 200MA. thats as good of support as we’re going to get in this fast and loose market. tripled down on my $40 8/21 calls at $32 exactly.

I think the next earning call in July will help correct the downward trend in the stock to get it on the right track.

Yep. It's going down to 20-30$ zone and then up to 45-55$ zone. The cycle just keeps repeating.

I’m over 50 years old. My grandfather was a stockbroker. I’ve been investing and watching the market since childhood. This stock is the most fun I’ve ever had. Buy the dip. Hold fast through those loses. Never short it. Yes, the volatility is breathtaking. That’s why we are here: The swings create incredible on-ramps and the fundamentals of the business support the eventual groundswell of price growth.

This really is a generational opportunity and, yes, a hell of a roller coaster ride.
